I am also against the ₱200.00 minimum wage hike. Kasi for example, as a business student, if tumaas ang labor cost ko from 31.01%, ang magiging solution ko is to layoff employees or increase the price of goods. Kasi, of course, hindi lang naman labor cost ang classified as cost, since may babayaran ka ring indirect cost and other costs. We also need to take into account na nag-i-increase rin yung presyo ng mga raw materials. In conclusion, wala rin siyang kuwenta. The government should do is to use the taxes we pay wisely. For example, they should fund a good and free travel transportation. Instead na gagastos sila para lang pumunta sa work with hassle, gagamitin na lang nila yon for their savings. Parang sa sobrang dami ng tax na nakukulimbat ng gobyerno, imposibleng hindi nila kaya yon iimplement. For me, I find a minimum wage hike a band-aid solution.
