Do you know the incredible and epic story of Sir Ernest Shackleton? His ship went to the Pole South and was caught (for 10 long months) and then destroyed by ices! His crew had to live on an iced island for months and months, with a temperature between -22°C and -45 °C, while he tried and incredibly succeeded to come back to civilization with a little boat and few men (this is considered now simply astonishing). After many attempts and many months later he was finally able to reach his crew and save them all!
