About 3,500 years ago, a small cypress tree sprouted in the swamps of Florida. Unfortunately, this tree was burned to ashes in 2012. Forest services said in a statement that location information would not be given in order to protect the tree well.

Old Tjikko, located in Dalarna, Sweden, is 9558 years old! Old Tjikko is now considered the oldest tree in the world. This tree, which is thought to have sprouted during the last Ice Age, is 16 meters tall. The old Tjikko, which is a type of Norway Spruce, welcomes thousands of visitors every year.

Fitzroya Cupressoides, a tall and evergreen tree species that grows in the Andes Mountains, is among the oldest tree groups in the world. These trees, which are under protection, can reach up to 45 meters in length and 3 meters in trunk width.

Llangernyw – North Wales

Llangernyw, on the list of the oldest trees in the world, is located in South Wales. Llangernyw, a lush 4000-year-old yew tree, sprouted in the Bronze Age. Today, the core of the tree is broken. st. Located in the Digain Church, this tree was included in the list of 50 Great Britain Trees in 2002.
