Heart.
MATTHEW 23:23 - teaches us that what's inside our heart is the true identity that defines us. Many people are hiding at the shadows of their outside character to deny their true colors but it is the heart that shows who they really are. No matter how hard they try to hide, the real personality will always come out from the dark because it is truth inside us. It is our choice what kind of heart we will have or what character will we try to put in our hearts. We should remember that in the beginning of our lives, God planted the seed of His love for you to take care of it and let it grow so that when its time is right, it will be fruitful and will bless others. We should stick on what God put it into our hearts because it is the heart that defines us.

Yes the true nature of a person always comes out. The mind may play games but the heart is pure.
Everything that we are or do or will ever become originates from the heart. We can hide what's in the heart but can't hide the attitudes that manifest as fruits from the intends of the heart.
