Christmas will not be postponed

Yes, Christmas is not and will never be postponed. We may have the scariest and most challenging year so far but we cannot deny the fact that we still look forward to this special day. I don't know if it's just me but there is this feeling of peace and joy with Christmas. As if everything is renewed, everyone becomes good and generous. There may be a big change from our usual customs and traditions when it comes to our celebrations but may we not forget the main reason for the season. Christmas is not all about gift giving, new clothes or grand celebration but it is the day of forgiving, loving and sharing good deeds to everyone. It's the best time to renew our faith, reflect if our actions, our words and how we treat other people is inline with God's teaching. Let's forget about each other's flaws, shortcomings and wrongdoings. It's time to show them that kindness, love and quality time are the most important gift we could give to everyone. Forgive as many times as we can, I know its hard and better said than done but if we want to follow Jesus and His teachings then we should always be humble and erase that pride that is holding us from doing so. But most of us find it as challenging right? Yeah, to forgive is easy but not to forget. Learn from a child wisdom, we all have gone through that stage. All the kids know is the simplicity of life, enjoying every bit of it, always excited for the new tomorrow because they will see their friends again and play with them. They do not to worry if they fall down, have bruises and got hurt. They cry a bit but then after a while they immediately get up and move on as if nothing happens and play again even one of their friend is the reason why they got hurt and cried. They also do not care if a gift is expensive or not, what matters is the joy that it brings. Jesus was born not in the most expensive hospital with the top caliber doctors and nurses but in the manger with the herd of sheep and shepherds; those lucky ones who first saw Jesus our Savior. Let's make this year's Christmas celebration the most memorable, happiest and filled with love. Let's be humble, be more caring and compassionate not just to our closest family and friends but to everyone including mother nature. Don't wish for grand gifts but wish for guidance, knowledge and wisdom that we may be able to spread good thoughts and good deeds everyday. Showing everyone that being good is not that hard, that spreading love is free and that God is with us always. Christmas will not be postponed because Christmas is in our hearts.
