Not an ordinary day

It's easy to say that today is just one of the ordinary days especially when we are to have a very routinary works either at home or at work. But think about it really, was it really that ordinary? Today, I have my regular routine. Started my day feeding my daughter, take a bath, then we go to the beach for about 30 minutes then I'll have my breakfast while my daughter is already solving or coloring. After breakfast, we will setup her study table and continue with our lessons. While I give her some activities, I am busy fixing, rearranging or repotting some plants; and so on. But it's not an ordinary as it may seem. Why and how? Because I have my daughter beside me who is a great reminder that it's a special day. Our routine may sound repetitive but our bonding makes it more than that. The sweetness in between all the day's activities is precious that sometimes I cannot help my tears to fall. Especially when she asked me to dance with her and even carry her even if she's 5 already and heavy, a surprise tight hug and kiss out of nowhere and the I love you Mommy. We don't need to look that far to make our day special, just look at the person beside you and say sweet words even just a simple smile or how are you. The secret is in US. Thanks for reading!
