Light and Joy

Light and Joy (Liwanag at Ligaya), this is the ABS-CBN's Christmas station ID for 2020. Very inspiring theme and it really makes us more hopeful that after all that has been happening this whole year, there is hope, we will experience true light and joy this coming Christmas day. It has been a roller coaster ride for most of us, and I am not excepted from all the challenges because I myself experienced being retrenched from work. But after that happened, that's when our pots business started to be recognized and luckily have and still helping us with our finances. And I never felt that I am actually suffering financially, I have my husband and my siblings support and I survived! My friend also had a problem with her boss and so she and her husband decided to go back to the province not only escape the risk of covid in the city but also to try their luck in business there. Their donut business was a hit but it's not enough to pay their monthly bills including the house amortization. She felt helpless on the first 2 months because their savings continue to decrease. There were interviews but they just kept her waiting. Then come last week of November, just when she was about to give up, she received a call and finally landed to her 1st online job. My former officemate also had a hard time looking for a new job during the whole quarantine period. Then one of her former colleagues told her that there was an opening in her previous position and so she gave it a try. And now, she is enjoying her new job. I am a believer that God will not give us challenges that we cannot conquer. That these problems are just passing and have no space in our life unless we let and allow them. God is always true to His promise. He cannot let us so broken without giving us light and joy at the end. We just learn to trust His ways, have faith, open our hearts so we could all experience the light and joy this coming Christmas day and all the days of our lives. ...^•°...
