Verse of the day
If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13 NIV https://luke.bible/luke-11-13 A very beautiful passage to ponder before I bid goodnight. I am a sinner, I have wrongdoings, shortcomings and other flaws that makes me think I am not worthy of any God's favors and blessings. But God does not focus on our flaws, what He sees is how we treat our brothers and sisters, how sincere our heart is and how much do we long for Him. He gives us all these out of love for us, yes because of love. Whenever life's challenges hit me, I always remind myself of the story of Job. How he survived all the hurts, the pains of losing his family, his properties; almost all that he possessed. But God sees how faithful Job is to Him and grant him the gift of life. Despite all the trials that Job have gone through, he never stopped praying, he never questioned God, rather he became more faithful to Him that is why God rewarded him. He was able to rise again and have his own family. Challenges after challenges, cries after cries and then we will experience joy and laughter. This is the cycle of our life. We need to endure, we need to have a strong faith in God in order for us to survive. We are never alone, listen to your heart and you can hear a loud voice saying He loves and cares for you. Listen carefully and you can hear a louder voice saying, I am with you always. Yes, God is with us. He knows what we are going through and He knows what we need and He knows what's in our heart. Keep loving Him, keep trusting in Him and keep praising Him. Thanks for reading and God bless us all!
