Double 6!

Yuri: Nanang, what's your plan for your birthday? Nanang: I don't have any, as long as I am healthy then that would be fine with me. Yesterday marks the 66th birthday of our dear mother. Me and my siblings joined forces to give her a surprise celebration like we always do, it's just that our mother is kinda kill joy most of the time and would pretend as if we are not celebrating at all😁 Early morning yesterday, Yuri handed her birthday card to Nanang.

Her explanation about the details of the card goes like this: Short hair Nanang and her friends' hair are short just like boys. Colorful chair Nanang is special so she deserve a colorful chair. Table 1 (infront) It is where the food where displayed; there pancit, fruit salad and macaroni salad. Table 2 (at the back) It is where they play tong-its every afternoon, and to make it more obvious, she added coins on the table. We decorated a space beside my sister's store as she was the one in-charged for the whole birthday set-up.

We invited our closest relatives and friends and had a sumptuous lunch cooked by our eldest sister. I was in-charged of babysitting 😁. Fair distribution of task right?

Some relatives from different provinces and in other countries also joined us via online which added to the joy of the birthday girl. It was a successful party but as usual my Nanang could not help but be emotional especially when she remembered and wished that our father would still be here and celebrate with us. How she wished that we could be complete again, but that will never happen again. ...^•°... Nanang's childhood story was not a happy one. She experienced the hardship and struggle of life and survival but here she is, still strong and fighting. She is a living proof of woman of strength, power and courage. Our Nanang, is the only parent we have now and as we promised to our father, we will do our best to protect, care, respect, love and let her experience the things that she never had when she was young.
