Thank you Lord!

My mother and nephew went to a neighbor this morning to collect their tithes. I was busy cooking for lunch then and my daughter was left watching tv as my mother said that they won't be away for long. I was about to feed the chicken when I heard two gun shots and it sounded like it's just near us. Then when I looked at the street just in front of our house, I saw my mother still carrying my nephew standing there as if frozen for a minute. I called her attention and asked them what was she doing and why did she stop there. Then she handed over my nephew to me and started screaming of fear and at the same time thankful. They were just a few step away from the gun shot. I led them upstairs and gave her water to drink to pacify her feeling. I was hugging her and my nephew because I can see how terrified she was. When she felt relieved, she started narrating what she had witnessed. *She said, they were waiting for our neighbor at their store when she noticed two unfamiliar faces eating there. Being friendly as she is, she offered these two that there is a great view near the beach just walking distance from the store. The other one started walking on the way leading to the beach while the other one was waiting for their change. However, they stopped at the plant seller just besides the store and started taking pictures. My mother still has no idea what will happen next and called the plant seller's attention that there is a potential buyer but the seller was busy of something. Then after a while, mother noticed that my nephew felt sleepy so they decided to go home and will just come back some other time.* *On their way home, she again noticed two other unfamiliar faces standing in front of an abandoned house but ignored them because the rain started to pour and my nephew keeps on yawning. Then just before they turn right to our house, she noticed a white van suddenly stopped in front of the two men then the passenger of the van clicked a gun and fired as if a warning shot.* *She was shocked and didn't know what to do next she just noticed that some men started running as if chasing someone. Then she heard me and my uncle calling her and that's when she got back to her proper senses and started screaming.* Seconds after she told what she witnessed, some neighbors were at the street and we noticed some policemen, PDEA and SWAT team busy roaming at the street and around the house of the culprit. And a tricycle driver told us that our neighbor was already caught. They found out that he was keeping 2 granites, an armalite, and drug peripernalias worth Php150k. It took the policemen, PDEA and the whole team 5 hours to finish all their procedures before they officially leave our place. Our place is in the news and it's not something to be proud of. With this, those who are still into this kind of business hopefully will soon stop and would realize that selling drugs maybe an easy way of earning more but it will not have and will never have a good effect. I am thankful that no other people got hurt and affected by this commotion. Especially, I am thankful that my mother is now feeling better and nothing really happened to her and my nephew. Oh dear God, thank you for saving these two important people of my life. Words are not enough how grateful I am right now. They are peacefully sleeping now beside me. ☺️ ....^•°...
