After rice, my uncle decided to plant chili as his next crop. It really needs a lot of care and work, even in the middle of the day he goes there to water them. If I did not capture this myself, I would think that these were salt splashing! 😁😁😁 My nephew enjoyed running around at the beach this morning that he got off-balance and stumbled. He drunk a little water and he was shouting 'apgad!' (salty). That's the only time they stopped and asked to go home. Earlier around 7am, as I was about to cook our breakfast, my brother called and said that there's a dolphin! As soon as I heard it, I immediately told the kids about it and they excitedly grabbed their slippers and we quickly went to the beach! We're happy to see this pretty creature ashore, but she was slightly hurt. There's a clot of blood near her mouth. The fisherfolk who found it said that they already reported it to the DENR for immediate action and cure hoping that…

Oh that joy when they see, feel and swim with dolphin in person! Then I realized, I was busy taking pictures earlier that I forgot to even touch her🤦🤦🤦 As of this writing, the dolphin is now travelling to the DENR center for immediate and proper care. They tried releasing her somewhere deeper in the sea but the poor little one was weak. Hope she'll get better and soon be re-united with her family and enjoy swimming in the ocean.

My granny just celebrated her 78th birthday yesterday and as a gift, we gave her cakes! She had fun especially when we sang the Ilocano birthday song and gave her crown and bouquet. What a joy seeing her happy and healthy at her age. Her eldest sister also turned 99 last November 5!

The sun set quietly today but the people coming and visiting us in Casa de Comida are loud! It was a busy afternoon/night for the whole team, but it was a happy one. It's a super chill day weekend for me today, I decided to not do anything heavy and just be with my daughter. Hello Monday!!! My daughter as usual woke up earlier than I am as she regularly does. And she was again busy with her drawing. She was so happy because last night, her aunts and uncles bought all her art pieces and so today, she is more inspired to draw more. She added a border as her dad suggested last night. My daughter's module asked: Why do kids like you need to be good at school? The other day when my daughter was busy creating new set of her art pieces for sale, I told her to try to draw a logo for her pizza store. In between games, they need to stop and have a study time. I gave these two kids bond paper and pen and asked them to draw their favorite toy or game. My daughter drew a bicycle while her playmate tried to write his name, just that his granny called him to take a bath leaving just me and my daughter to finish the task. She's having a power nap now🙂

My Yuri feels better now and back to her normal self; talkative and creative! She ate well as I again cooked her favorite viand which is sinigang😁. It looks like a jelly fish or that of the squid skin but upon looking closer it's a different one. When I took a photo, they even looked like a snow stuck in the bamboo branch. Out of curiousity, I cut a bamboo branch and touch it and it was actually soft like jelly. Finally, we were able to travel and have a quick escape to a newly opened food house in a nearby town. It's main attractions are the floating cottages, sadly we were too many that a cottage could not accommodate us all. Spot the yellow butterfly! I struggled capturing it earlier as she kept flying and this was the best I got. Patience is a virtue and a talent as well right?! It's super chill Sunday with the fam. Yuri's unicorn! Our neighbor ordered it to her yesterday and she even inserted a greetings, which made the buyer smile upon receiving it this morning. Yuri got a tip and immediately put it in her charity box. And I got a bonus, she recycled a cardboard box and wrote this sweet message. Happy Monday at the beach! Went there early because there were early visitors from Manila. They are doctors who came from Manila and wanted to escape for a while. These are one of the most unique flower I've ever seen so far. They looked like little flamingos floating and dancing in the air but in a different shade. We went to Vigan today!!! For the first time in forever, we were able to eat inside a resto and enjoy the ambiance. The kids missed going out really especially my nephew, who never experienced these before. His head had been rotating appreciating the new environment. We also let them try riding the calesa (horse carriage). They were hesitant at first but when they noticed that the horse is well-behaved they enjoyed the ride and would not want to go home yet.
