Oh wow, three British banks are blocking transfers to exchanges as Binance and Swissborg. Supposedly to protect their clients. That’s a rather harsh measure. Just glad that hasn’t happened in the EU (yet?). Apparently there has been a record number of frauds recently. However I don’t quite see why they target Binance or Swissborg. Both seem rather reputable to me. #Cryptocurrency

This happens all the time in my country. We had to bypass that with p2p. Wonder whats wrong with them.
Which country is that? And how do you bypass a bank transfer that you want to m ake from your fiat bank account to a crypto exchange via p2p? I mean, just in case this happens here in the future..
What we do generally is we restrict our activities to p2p. Also we hardly use the bank. We have a lot of 3rd party banking apps. We use them more. So assuming I need to buy from Binance p2p. I make payment to the seller through the 3rd party app, normally a fintech start up. The same way if I want to sell. The buyer pays me through the same 3rd party app. That way we bypass the bank. Even when we make payment through our banks we don't describe it as payment for crypto. Anybody can send money to anybody so they can't conclude it's for crypto.
I see, thank you for the explanation. What 3rd party banking app for the p2p do you recommend?
Binance p2p has been a life saver for me. Don't know if Binance is available in your country. The best for me. If you don't have Binance, you could Google and see which ones are available to you
Yes, it is available. I don't know about their p2p option (yet) but will investigate. Thanks.
