An atheist walked in the Rocky Mountains and admired all the things around him that "the coincidence of evolution" had created. "What beautiful animals!" he said to himself. As he walked along the river, he heard a rustle behind him in the bushes. He turned and saw a 2 meter grizzly bear approaching him. He ran up the path as fast as he could. He looked over his shoulder and noticed that the bear was getting closer. He ran even faster and tears came to him with excitement. He looked around again, but the bear had come closer. His heart was racing terribly and he tried to run even faster. He stumbled and fell to the ground. He rolled himself up to straighten himself up, but he only saw the bear; directly above him, the left paw stretched out after him and taking the right one to strike. At that moment the atheist called without thinking, "Oh my god!" Time stood still. The bear froze. The forest froze. Even the river stopped flowing. While a bright light fell on the man, a voice came from heaven : "You have denied my existence over the years. You teach others that I do not exist and even attribute creation to a cosmic coincidence. Do you really expect me to help you out of this difficulty? Should I see you as a believer?" The atheist looked directly into the light and replied: "It would be hypocrisy to want to be a Christian after all these years, but maybe you can make the bear a Christian?" "Very good," said the voice. The light went out. The river flowed again. The sounds of the forest returned. And then the bear took back his right paw, brought both paws together, bowed his head and said: "Cometh, oh Lord Jesus be my guest and bless what you gave me!"
