Pumpkins from my garden
I planted pumpkins in my garden. They are very healthy. Pumpkin is an ideal and unavoidable autumn food, rich in medicinal ingredients, tasty, and at the same time low in calories.
Pumpkin is a real treasure trove of important nutrients, one cup of pumpkin contains more vitamin A than kale, more magnesium than bananas and more fiber than half a cup of quinoa. I heard about her being healthy, so I decided to try planting her in my garden. It was my first experience. I planted three houses. I put three seeds in each box.
Pumpkin, or Cucurbita pepo in Latin, is an annual plant and belongs to the creepers. When it reaches its maturity, the flesh of the fruit is sweet and not too aromatic (except for some special aromatic species). Although we classify it as a vegetable, pumpkin is actually a fruit because the seed is found in the fruit of the plant.
Of my 9 seeds sown, I had 23 large pumpkins. I didn't know they were so invasive. They let the vines grow all over the garden. They started climbing the fence as well. It was very funny when I saw him hanging on the fence.
One got entangled in the fence and grew like that. I had to cut it into pieces, because otherwise I couldn't separate it from the wires on the fence.
Pumpkin seeds are also healthy, as they are also loaded with potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron.
Pumpkin is rich in fiber, which will saturate you, keeping your blood sugar level stable, so you will have enough energy throughout the day.
The pumpkin grown in Charles Hotton's garden in 2002 entered the Guinness Book of Records because it weighed 606.7 kg.
Happy Glory to Saint Sava !
Today, the Serbian Orthodox Church and the faithful mark Saint Sava, who is considered one of the most important figures in Serbian history. Savindan is celebrated as part of the first Serbian archbishop, educator and creator of legislation. Saint Sava is considered the founder of Serbian medieval literature and the protector of educational institutions.
He was born in 1169 as the youngest son of the Serbian prefect Stefan Nemanja. His world name was Rastko.
He renounced worldly life and became a monk at a very young age, around 1192, on the Holy Mountain, in the Russian monastery of St. Panteleimon.
He returned to Serbia in 1208 to completely reconcile the quarreling brothers. He was engaged in educational work, transmitting basic religious and secular lessons.
He left behind several written works. The most important are "Life of Saint Simeon", "Karejski tipik", "Hilandarski tipik" and "Studenički tipik", as well as "Zakonopravilo".
The legacy of Saint Sava is still present in the tradition of the Orthodox Church of the Slavic peoples. He is the greatest Serbian educator. He is a man who founded the Hilandar monastery and who, with his firm faith in God, also believed in people, connected them and illuminated their life paths. He is also important as the writer of the first Serbian Nomocanon, the Life of Saint Simeon, Studenički and Hilandarski tipik. Numerous songs and folk tales have been written about him, and the day of his death, January 27, was marked as a holiday of all schools and many Orthodox believers.
Far away ... there is a wonderful country, Serbia!
Many people from other distant countries do not understand and do not know exactly where it is and what Serbia is.
After several such experiences, I came to terms with my country thinking that I came from Siberia (and that I have a surprisingly sunny complexion given that it is constantly cold there), or even sometimes from Syria .... that they had never heard of for Serbia.
My dear virtual friends from distant lands, I want to introduce you to my country, Serbia.
Serbia is a country that stretches partly in Southeast Europe - on the Balkan Peninsula (75% of the territory) and partly in Central Europe - in the Pannonian Plain, (25% of the territory), occupying a total area of 88,407 km2. Serbia borders Hungary to the north, Romania and Bulgaria to the east, Macedonia and Albania to the south, and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia to the west. The Republic of Serbia includes two autonomous provinces: Vojvodina and Kosovo and Metohija. Since the NATO bombing of the FRY (1999), the province of Kosovo and Metohija has been under a United Nations protectorate. On February 17, 2008, the institutions of the provisional self-government in Kosovo and Metohija, where Albanians form an ethnic majority, unilaterally declared independence, which Serbia and the United Nations do not recognize. The capital of Serbia is Belgrade. Geography Serbia is located on the land mass of the Balkan Peninsula, which is surrounded by warm seas (Adriatic, Aegean and Black), while in the north it leans on the European continent. The northern part of the Republic is occupied by plains, and in the southern parts there are hills and mountains. There are over 30 mountain peaks above 2,000 meters above sea level, and the highest peak is Đeravica on Prokletije with a height of 2,656 meters. The mountain relief of Serbia explains the appearance of many canyons, gorges and caves. The lowest point is located on the border with Romania and Bulgaria, at the confluence of the Timok and the Danube, at 28 meters above sea level. The longest river in Serbia is the Danube, whose flow through Serbia is 588 km (out of a total length of 2,783 km). The climate in Serbia is moderately continental. Winters are short, cold and snowy, while summers are warm. The coldest month is January, and the warmest is July.

However, there are foreigners who not only know that Serbia is the country from which Novak Djokovic and Vlade Divac came, who carried this flag on the victorious throne ... They decided to leave their homeland and come here to live, eat kebabs and kiss. be three times in the cheek. The reasons for that are various: from business to those of love and adventure.
Foreign citizens mostly come to Serbia out of love for their chosen one, and they stay out of love for Serbia, where the neighbor's coffee is still drunk and the Serbian language can be learned with a glass of good brandy.
There are more and more people who choose Serbian villages and a suitable country where they start growing organic food. Many find refuge from the hustle and bustle of European cities in the smaller cities of Serbia, where they can more easily raise and educate their children.
Here are a few stories of foreigners around the world, who have met my country. These are their experiences.
Mohamed, Libya
I've been here for five years, and I came to study computer science. When I first entered the home of Serbs, I realized that family relations and traditions are still cultivated here. All family members are in contact with each other and have a developed relationship, which is great.
Again, I was shocked that people are so kind in general, because honestly, I have not heard such stories about Serbs. Rafts and Savamala quickly became my second home, I got hooked on cream, eggs with cheese and ajvar. Apart from the climate, the way of life and thinking is completely different than in my country.
Here people call me "my brother", "kings", "heart", "king", "masters", "legend", and those words make me feel warm. Nobody called me that before, until I came to Serbia.
Serbia is my second home.
John, United Kingdom
I've been here for ten years. I came as a tourist and stayed for a while. In Serbia, I was attracted by the fact that I knew nothing about this country, almost that it existed, and then I fell in love with it.
What shocked me the most were the prices. You can't buy anything under five euros in my country, and I can buy a few things here for that money. I got hooked on yogurt in a glass because I haven't tried anything like it anywhere.
In a different way, she was shocked by youth unemployment. I have a lot of friends in Serbia and many of them graduated from college and work as waiters, because they have no other opportunities. Another negative thing is the bike path. In the new part of the city it is in the old no? What kind of nebula is that?
My country, Serbia, is a place like no other in the world. It is a unique country of unique people, somewhere on the border of East and West, in the colorful and tame nature of a temperate and beautiful climate. When you look at her from the heights of heaven, when you look at her from the clouds, she is so lovely and charming, colorful and all in small threads of weaving small fields of different colors and beauty. Hilly and tame, from flat Vojvodina to the hills of Šumadija, it exudes a moderation and beautiful nature that everyone would like.
Akita inu - the most loyal dog in the world !
Akita inu or akita - the dog originally originated in Japan and is one of the oldest so-called. primitive breeds of dogs descended directly from wolves. Dogs of this breed are very loyal and attached to their owners.
The origin of this tribal breed of dogs is connected to the island of Honshu and the province of Akita, after which it got its name. The history of the development of the Akita followed the turbulent history of Japan. The original name of the Akita matagi breed indicates that the dog was used in bear hunting.
The whole world probably knows the story of a dog named Hachiko. Hachiko is a symbol of fidelity, unconditional love and the most sincere friendship. His faithful friend Hachiko would wait for him every day in the same place when he returned home. Unfortunately, after only a year of their friendship and coexistence, the 21st mother in 1925, the professor passed away.
But his Hachiko was still waiting for him, for a full nine years, nine months and fifteen days. Although he was now being watched by the professor's gardener, Hachiko would do the same thing every day at the same time, waiting for a professor who never returned. After almost a decade of waiting, Hachiko died in 1935. He was cremated, and his ashes were laid next to the professor's in Aoyama Cemetery. His fur has been preserved and has been stuffed and exhibited at the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo. Hachiko is known all over the world today, and his love has become an example of the most faithful relationship between a dog and a man.
Another amazing story about the most faithful dog. The most recent confirmation comes to us from Turkey, where one loyal pet spent his days in front of the hospital waiting for his owner. Bonchuk, which means "ball" in translation, ran after the ambulance with which its owner, Jamal Senturk, was transported to the hospital in the city of Trabzon on January 14. Because she remembered the trip, she came in front of the health facility every day and waited. Senturk's daughter Ajnur Egeli says that she tried to take Bonchuk home, but she would always come back and wait patiently in front of the hospital.
She came every day around nine in the morning and waited until it got dark. She did not enter the hospital. When the door opened, she would just peek inside.Bonchuk waited, waited and waited. On Wednesday, she finally saw her owner, Džemal Šenturk. The hospital staff helped him out, and the meeting was more than touching.
A touching story about this heroic dog that will not only hit dog lovers touches the most subtle human emotions. It reminds us of everyone who stays, waits and hopes for the return of their loved ones, even when it is impossible. The weight of the abandoned enters people's hearts, and Hachi's fidelity encourages the desire to find a soul mate, a friend who will follow us throughout our lives and to whom we will have the opportunity to return the love.
Man will soon destroy the light of the firefly !
Around the world, the firefly illuminates the night with its shimmering body. However, scientists say that this magical scene is endangered - the loss of natural habitats and the use of pesticides and artificial light put at risk of extinction of some of the 2,000 species. The loss of natural habitat leads to a reduction in the number of many species of wild animals and that some scrolls are endangered because they need certain conditions to fulfill the entire life cycle.
One species of firefly from Malaysia (Pteroptyx tener), known for its synchronized lighting, needs mangrove forests and the plants they contain in order to reproduce, but all over Malaysia, mangrove swamps have been turned into palm oil plantations and aquaculture farms. Even more surprising is that scientists have discovered that the use of artificial light at night, which has increased exponentially over the last century, is the second most serious threat to these creatures.
Artificial light includes direct lighting, such as street lighting and advertisements, as well as light pollution, diffused light that spreads outside urban centers and can be brighter than a full moon. In addition to disturbing the natural biorhythm - including human - light pollution creates a serious disturbance in the mating rituals of fireflies. The light of fireflies is created in the stomach of this insect, ie. in the lower part of his stomach, which contains cells called photocytes. Two chemicals in photocytes, luciferin and luciferase, react with each other and release energy.
Each type of scroll has its own twinkling rhythm, so that males and females are sure to enter into contact with a member of their species. Some types of lights are able to coordinate the blink, so that a large set of lights turns on and off at the same time.
In Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia, there is the possibility to recreationally watch the spectacular light signals of some types of fireflies. More than 200,000 visitors a year come to watch this phenomenon.

Parents, pay attention before it's too late!
Video game addiction is a growing problem globally. It is estimated that two billion people play video games worldwide, and as many as 4 percent of them are addicts. In 2018, the World Health Organization classified video game addiction as an addiction. Every year, 20 to 30 children are hospitalized at the Institute for Mental Illnesses in Belgrade due to video games, and in 90% of cases, these are boys. The problem of video game addiction occurs from an early age. From the age of two or three, children are very good at mobile phones and computers. It starts from just watching at first, and then at the age of seven, eight or even earlier they get involved in interactive video games that involve more players and are popular from children to middle-aged people.
What is the difference between video game enthusiasts and addicts who need professional help? An addict is, by definition, a person who is occupied with video games to such an extent that he cannot perform daily activities normally. All segments of life are endangered and neglected, because priority is given to playing games, regardless of the negative consequences it brings. Parents do not take care of their children enough. They often think that a child is safer at home than on the street, which is justified, but on the other hand, an ideal predisposition for these types of addictions is created. One third of students in Serbia have problems due to the amount of time they spend on the Internet and because of that they get into conflicts with family or friends. Slightly less than half unsuccessfully try to spend less time online and neglect socializing and commitments, feel bad when they can't be online, and nearly a fifth neglect basic biological needs such as food needs because of the Internet, mostly video games. or sleep. Addiction to video games leaves many on the physical health of addicts. There are problems with vision, pain in the cervical spine, curvature of the entire musculature due to incorrect body position for several hours. Insufficient movement and sitting at the computer for too long can also cause clots in the legs. Many negative consequences are also reflected on the psyche of addicts. They are often desocialized, isolated from the rest of society, without the ability to empathize and self-control. If the treatment does not start on time, there are thoughts of suicide, and often patients try to harm others. The treatment of video game addiction is similar to the treatment of gambling addicts in many respects. The addict loses awareness of real time and tries to spend every moment playing. Initially, games are played only on weekends, when a person has the most leisure.
Over time, playing will become daily, but at shorter intervals, for example two hours during the day. As psychological dependence increases, the time spent playing plays will increase to a dozen or more hours during each day.
A worrying fact is that several deaths were registered in people who played video games continuously for more than 20 hours. Loss of interest in work, school, assignments, hobbies, the previous routine. The person initially denies the existence of the problem, trying to minimize it.
When a person realizes that he has a problem, he will seek help from people around him. In the case of minors, sometimes the problem will not be perceived. Then the parents or guardians of the addict are taken to an expert on their own initiative.
When he is deprived of the opportunity to play games, the addict faces a feeling of suffering and boredom, he feels sad because of the loss of something important. This affects behavior that becomes irritable and nervous. Until then, calm and withdrawn, the patient becomes aggressive towards others and towards himself. He blames his neighbors for denying him a source of pleasure.
We cannot rely on these young people, they are immature, they do not have enough experience, they do not have their own personality. So they need family support. In the situation when the scenario "either he buys me a mobile phone that supports this and that or I kill myself" comes to an end. That means the story was missed five to ten years ago. Now, here is a very important story about prevention. We have two types of prevention - specific and general. Specific prevention in this context would be a ban, censorship of a video game that has aggressive content. The second part is related to something that is general prevention. General prevention in this case would mean that if you take away a video game, a tablet, you have to give something in return.
- If you don't give it to him, a very big problem will arise because you took away part of his identity, and you didn't give him anything. The question is what can be given. And always the only answer is warmth, friendship, humanity, that is, family.

He is definitely one of the biggest inspirations in my life!
The life story of Niko Vujicic is the story of a man who managed to overcome the unthinkable with his faith. When he saw it for the first time, Father Borislav died. Dusko's mother did not want to see him with her eyes. Today, Nick is a successful businessman and one of the most famous motivational speakers in the world. Nick was born with tetra-Amelia syndrome. It is a very rare disease that is characterized by the absence of all four extremities. Tom of his childhood, Nick struggled with karst self-emergence, peer abuse, depression, and unrest. Then he wrote down why he was different, he tried to commit suicide, and today he is the inspiration of many.
He was born in Melbourne and is the first child of Borisav and Duska, who left Serbia in 1964 as emigrants. They went to Australia belly up for bread. When it was done on December 4, 1982, they were desperate. There was no medical reason why their firstborn would have this disorder. What was supposed to be the most mediocre day in their life’s prison is in trauma and shock. Fearing for him and his future, they did not even expect their son to become a modern modern hero in whom millions of people around the world would carry inspiration.
And, how could we ... The level of a child was filled with countless difficulties and problems. As a boy, he constantly prayed to God to give him hands and new ones ... hoping that it would be the morning when he woke up, they had elbows, hands, fists and fingers. Nick tirelessly obeyed the wish.
Sunday when he went to bed, he told his brother that he would take his own life when he turned twenty-one. A few hours later, he woke up when his father was sitting on the edge of the bed: "What are you talking about suicide?", His father asked. "We are always there for you," comforted Nikola, starving his voice. The conversation was long. After that, Nikola's thoughts about suicide disappeared. One of the difficulties he encountered was what is prohibited under Australian law from attending regular school, despite having only a physical, not a mental disability. It was only when the law changed that he was one of the first students with disabilities to graduate from Victoria Elementary School in Melbourne.
He learned to write with two toes on his left foot. But that's not all. With his left foot, he also learned to type on a computer (he can type 43 words per minute), play football, surf, ride a skateboard, throw tennis balls, answer the phone, wipe and pour water ... heavy genetic pores that are characterized lack of all four limbs. Despite that, he managed to take over everything recently and cope with his disability. Only 17 years ago, the non-profit organization "Life without twins" was founded, a stimulating lecture by the state around the world.
Nick knew the motivational speaker by far, who, despite his physical shortcomings, managed to achieve many things he was talking about - he traveled to many countries, gave a hundred lectures, started a faculty lecturer, wrote.
Nick went through a very difficult phase in his life. I know that he also had thoughts of suicide, but also many other problems that we cannot even imagine. That is why he now shares his experiences with people all over the world, because when a man who has neither arms nor legs talks about happiness and that we should be grateful every day for everything we have, it is simply unbelievable. I take off his hat. He is definitely one of the biggest inspirations in my life.

And you will grow old!
It is difficult for society around the world to accept the fact that there is violence against the elderly and yes they are not seen as "cute old grandparents", but treated as objects and abused them. There is an idealized opinion about the family and life within it, so it is hard to believe about the existence of violence within it and especially against the elderly.
We are all getting older, no matter how old we are at the moment. However, the young population does not thinking about age. They forget the fact that all the discussions, inscriptions and insights about aging and life about old age actually concerns themselves, more precisely their future. A man while still young, the choices made build their age.
When was the last time you heard a story that moved you deeply, maybe something you read, or watched, or something that was passed down from generation to generation. While some people
they learn best through facts and figures, there are many that relate to experiences and emotions. We all remember the stories of our grandparents, told at the table or around the fire, for
time of cold winter evenings. We remember stories that have been passed down from generation to generation, stories that last for decades, and sometimes centuries. Every story,
it is told in different ways, but each has preserved its essence, always leaving a different impression.
Here is a story that will shake you up a bit and encourage you to think.
There was once a weak old woman who lived with her son, daughter-in-law and grandson after the death of her beloved husband. Her health was deteriorating daily, so her hands were shaking and food was occasionally falling out of the spoon, and soup was spilling on the table. Dissatisfied with the old woman's condition and behavior, the son and daughter-in-law set up a table in the corner of the room and ordered him to sit and eat there. During the meal, she was sad and looked at her son and daughter-in-law with tears in her eyes, but they did not notice or talk to her, except when they unjustly scolded her. One evening, just before dinner, their little girl sitting on the floor was playing dice. "What are you doing to your daughter?" The father asked her. "I'm making a table for you and your mom so you two can sit and eat alone in the corner of the room when I grow up," the girl replied. Father and mother fainted from pain and began to cry, realizing what injustice the old women were doing. That evening the son and daughter-in-law returned the old woman to her old place at the big table, but the stain on their conscience remained forever.
Just as babies crave touch, so do older children and adults need attention, only later we learn to replace physical touch with other forms of recognition, and that can be a smile, a nod, a handshake, a hug, a compliment.
Our task is to help the elderly to remain responsible for the decisions that affect them and to strive for older people with a high degree of dependence to maintain dignity and self-belief, to promote self-esteem and to take into account the views of older people when organizing their life and solve their problems. One such sentence is: "If you need help, tell me and I will help you in what you do not understand, or you cannot do on your own."
They wanted to admit that, or not infrequently, who today has time for grandmothers. However, they are always there somewhere and waiting for you to need them. How many grandmothers actually need us?
As much as you are in this modern chaos, I understand everything and I know that this is the 21st century, but visit your grandmother or call her. Send a message! Do it whenever you can. An hour of talk time, a little help, is a lot for your grandmothers. Don't look for an excuse, look for an opportunity to brighten your grandmother's day.
You know your grandmother deserves it all!

I love crystals ... it's a complete hit ... Jade ... although a diamond wouldn't hurt me!
Crystals are beautiful gifts of nature that are given to us to enrich our lives in various ways, and are most often used to make jewelry. Various minerals and natural substances may or may not have a crystalline structure, but most of the more famous and esteemed ones build beautiful crystals. Apart from jewelry, precious stones are also used in metaphysical and spiritual work, and its symbolic meaning is also known. Many people also associate zodiac signs with crystals.
People have always been interested in crystals, fascinated by their beauty and wonder. Throughout history, many magical and divine properties have been attributed to them, they have even been used in many rituals for protection from negative forces, but they have also been abused for magical purposes. All known religions have a positive attitude towards crystals and interpret their role in their own way. In Christianity, in the Revelation of John, they are mentioned as the foundations of the future city of Christ. Jasper is found as the first foundation, while Amethyst is at the top, 12th, as the most spiritual. Indian philosophy connects them to the energy centers on man and presupposes 7 basic chakras. The human brain is programmed to self-heal and treat crystals as a positive vibration, which it needs to perform its function on behalf of the whole organism. They work in rhythms. The most precise and best, in the absence of other instruments, is to choose the crystals personally. Every stone is unique, as is a person. Sometimes the shade or impurity in a crystal will be decisive for a crystal. Relying on the secret resources of one's own brain that best takes care of individual needs, to establish harmony and a healthy state of a particular organism, can be easily established, through a visual experience of attraction and touch, to accurately determine the need for a crystal as a medicine.
If you want to buy a crystal, you probably face many questions ... Which is the best? Which is the most beautiful? Have you ever asked yourself how to choose a friend? How are we attracted? Often we are attracted to the crowd by only one person, among many others, perhaps similar to that person, sometimes even more physically attractive. Why? It happens that we do not like the presence of a person even if that person does not perform verbal or gesticular communication with us. We don't like that person's energy.
Sometimes you will be attracted by an unsightly crystal, as opposed to a beautiful and processed piece, sometimes a beautiful piece as opposed to an energetically much stronger piece. Love at first sight is in choosing crystals the signal of recognizing the crystals you need. If you are not an adventurer who believes in that love at first sight, run your hand over various types of crystals and rely on the feeling in the hand you are crossing because you will receive a signal in it. Sometimes we choose a crystal with our eyes closed from a group of mixed crystals, relying on the feeling of attraction by touch.

Is this a conspiracy theory?
Conspiracy theories are a miracle - it's usually notorious nonsense, but this place in Denver seems to have too many coincidences.
Ever since 1995, when the Denver International Airport opened, conspiracy theories about the Illuminati's hidden bunker have not ceased to capture the public's attention.
The DIA website clearly states that some buildings were not completed properly, but the authorities, instead of demolishing them, added more buildings at the top to hide the existing ones, which gave the Illuminati their personal "underground lair".
There are underground tunnels at the airport, along with the train responsible for running between the halls and the shut down automated baggage system, but the real purpose of the tunnel seems to be quite unequivocal. Many believe the tunnels have underground bunkers that will act as a haven for elite members of society when the apocalypse occurs.
One of the conspiracy theories says that it is actually a huge military base or even a future concentration camp in which captured Americans will be housed.
There is a memorial plaque with Masonic symbols at the airport. There is also gratitude to the parent organization: the New World Airports Commission.
What is this New World? What it means? Is this the announcement of the New World Order? How can such an inscription stand in such an important and serious place?
Too many questions, no answers for medicine. Finally, when the numbers from the date are added from the board, the number 33 is obtained - the highest level of Freemasons.
In front of the airport is his really "beautiful" symbol - a statue of a haunted horse with bright red eyes. He is said to represent the fourth rider of the apocalypse of Revelation - death.
A terrifying depiction of a wild horse in blue was made by an artist from El Paso, Luis Jimenez, when that work cost his life. Namely, a part of the "horse" fell on the artist in 2006 and cut the artery in his leg, which is why he lost his life.
The whole airport is drawn with murals by a not too famous artist named Leo Tanguma. The picture of children dreaming of peace at the foot shows a scene from hell. On one wall is the grimace of a Nazi soldier with a gas mask.
This airport is adorned with numerous murals, including one showing children of various nations. The mural would not be interesting if every child did not wear a mask on their face, as we wear today, defending ourselves from infection. This mural was painted in 1994! At that time, definitely, no one was interested in masks except surgeons, and it is difficult to explain what they represent in the vision of the artist Leo Tanguma.
There are too many strange details at the tenth busiest airport in the world. Every year, 50 million people pass through this airport. And everyone saw what I listed. This is just part of the overall bizarreness.

Congratulations to my fellow citizen !
Raising a child by instilling in him a love of books and reading is a long-term investment from which the child will have multiple benefits. It is a one-time and one of the best features you can convey.
Reading to the child and together with him develops his mind, strengthens the bond between parent and child, and increases the chances of toddlers to lead a successful life when they grow up. It has been proven that independent reading, ie the time spent while someone is reading to us, stimulates brain functions, and also affects emotional intelligence, as well as intelligence in general.
The "Reader of the Year" award was established last year and is presented to the user of the National Library "Dr Radovan Lalic" who has read the most books in one calendar year.
"Reader of the Year", a prestigious award given by the Belgrade City Library, was presented to Denis Rahmanović, a boy who read almost 300 titles in the past year. At the ceremony on the occasion of the City Library Day and its 90th birthday, Denis sat proudly as the youngest winner. The epidemic affected the lives of all citizens. The children mostly attended classes online, they had more free time, they spent more time at home for a while, so Denis decided to spend quality time with quality literature.
His first books read were about Jerome Stilton, a mouse journalist who embarks on various adventures and solves mysteries, by Elizabeth Dami. In addition to the three hundred titles read last year alone, Dennis was fascinated by Rick Riordan's book series "Percy Jackson and the Gods of Olympus."
Nowadays, schoolchildren most often read posts from Facebook, descriptions of pictures from Instagram, and when it comes time for school reading, they search the Internet for reading, if possible, in the shortest possible version. Narrated books, reviews from the Internet, are not particularly interesting for Denis. This boy prefers the rustling of pages under his fingers to the sound of a mouse clicking on a computer.
The boy from the elementary school in Borča is from my neighborhood. I don't know him, but I want to congratulate him in this way!

Lady Dee was really something special ...
Twenty-three years have passed since the death of Princess Diana, the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales and the eldest son and heir of Queen Elizabeth II. Although she has been gone for more than two decades, she is still one of the most important royal figures in modern history, in connection with which there is a lot of speculation - from the fact that her death was a tragic accident, to the fact that everything was planned and arranged.
When she married Prince Charles in the Cathedral of St. Paul, the wedding ceremony was watched by 750 million spectators around the world. Diana has been the center of public attention throughout her life. Everything related to it, from clothes to hair, immediately became an international trend. Even after two decades from the moment of the tragic death, the public interest in the person of the Princess of Wales has not been extinguished.
Prince Charles and Diana met when he met Sarah, Diana’s older sister. The relationship between Sarah and Charles was at a standstill after she publicly announced that she did not like the prince. Diana, on the other hand, loved Charles a lot and even hung a photo over her bed in the boarding school. “I want to become a dancer or a Princess of Wales,” she once admitted to her convocation.

Diana, on the other hand, loved Charles a lot and even hung a photo over her bed in the boarding school. “I want to become a dancer or a Princess of Wales,” she once admitted to her convocation. Diana was only 16 when she first saw Charles hunting in Norfolk.
n the last 300 years, Lady Diana Francis Spencer was the first Englishwoman to become the wife of the heir to the British throne. Before her, the wives of English kings were mostly representatives of German royal dynasties, there was also Dan (Alexandra of Denmark, wife of Edward VII), and even the queen mother, wife of George VI and grandmother of Charles, was a Scot.
Princess Diana's wedding dress was decorated with 10,000 pearls and ended with 8 meters of embroidery - the longest in the history of royal weddings.
Princess Diana was considered one of the most noble women in the then Great Britain. She was involved in charity and was always down to earth and kind. The public adored her, and fashion critics and stylists admired her clothing combinations and called her a muse. She was also remembered as the first woman to embrace a man suffering from HIV on national television, at a time when such topics were still taboo.
Her life changed completely overnight, and although everything seemed fairytale to the public, the reality was significantly different. Charles tried to fall in love with Diana, but despite the work and two sons she bore him - he never succeeded. His heart had long since been captured and handed over to Camille Parker Bowles, and Diana was painfully aware of it.
Diana chose the names for her children herself and insisted that the eldest son be named William, despite the fact that Charles chose the name Arthur and the younger Henry (so he was baptized even though everyone called him Harry), while the father asked him to call his son Alberta. Diana cared for the children, although this was not accepted in the royal family. Diana and Charles were the first parents who, contrary to the established tradition, traveled with their small children. Diana tried to show the children the diversity of life outside the palace. Together they ate burgers at McDonalds, took the subway and bus, wore jeans and baseball caps, went down to inflate boats along mountain rivers, and rode bicycles. At Disneyland, as usual, visitors stood in line for tickets.
Princess Diana's life tragically ended in 1997, when she died in a car accident. However, it seems that many secrets and rumors remained behind it, which did not come to light.

Give a flower with style !
The tradition of giving flowers, most often for birthdays, first began in the Roman Empire. Relatives and friends brought flowers to the celebrant to surround him, but during the celebration he placed these flowers on the house altar and dedicated them to the gods. This is how flowers connected the human and spiritual worlds. Flora is the Roman goddess of flowers, and the Floralia festival was held in ancient Rome every year in early spring. Two temples are also dedicated to the goddess, and that speaks enough about how much the Romans valued flowers. Although there are some indications that the Greeks already knew the symbolism of flowers and intertwined them with myths, the Victorian period is considered to be the most deserving for the development of the language of flowers, more precisely the association of meanings with individual flower heads.
Just as each month of the year corresponds to a certain flower, so each zodiac sign has its "favorite" plant that describes its best properties in the best possible way. In general, each embodies beauty, tenderness and love, but depending on the look, color and smell, the symbolism that surrounds both the flower and each sign of the zodiac varies.
Eagle Nails. An exotic creeper with an even more exotic name is an ideal flower for those born in the sign of Aries. Stubborn, lively and almost indestructible, it suits people who are widely known as great leaders who manage to quickly adapt to all situations, and to make new friendships even faster wherever they are. Although it may not be considered the most elegant and refined plant in the world, this flower is endowed with an exceptional fragrance that leaves no one indifferent. This is, after all, the goal of almost every member of this zodiac sign!
Polish Poppy. In many places you can read that Taurus is fascinated by white works, violets or dahlias, but if you really want to let a special Taurus know how much you appreciate his perseverance, classic charm and serenity with which he captivates even in the most difficult life situations - give him a wild poppy. . This flower is the embodiment of naturalness, hedonism and ease of life, and at the same time, with its bright red color, it is associated with action, passion and pleasure. And the arena, which will certainly not leave any Taurus indifferent!
Lavender. Every true Gemini knows the power of friendship, appreciates good conversation, freedom and unrestrainedness (both thoughts and movements). We are all well aware of their inexhaustible energy and sociability, which, you will agree, can sometimes lead to fatigue. Lavender, on the other hand, is a flower that has exactly that power to relax and recharge our batteries, primarily with a scent that refreshes and regenerates, and then with its appearance, which is a perfect blend of classic and youthful. All these characteristics are extremely respected by every member of the third zodiac sign, so the blue beauty is the ideal gift for a restless Gemini
White rose. The most sensitive sign of the horoscope enjoys the most delicate and delicate flower from the rose family. Its pearly white color contains all the charm, elegance, innocence, but also excessive care, which (in some cases) can border on fear. Also, the white rose corresponds so perfectly with the ruling planet of this zodiac sign, the Moon, so we see in it a wide range of emotions that are not so easy to master in everyday life. In any case, the white rose is a perfect symbol of sincere love, which knocks every Cancer off its feet.
Sunflower. Is there a flower that simultaneously symbolizes sociability, enthusiasm, vitality, self-confidence, pride? Believe it or not, that flower is a sunflower, dominant and self-confident even on one of the most ordinary meadows! You just can't put him in the background, just like Lava, no matter how hard you try. In search of perfect authority, an ideal leader and a dignified companion, he unmistakably turns his head to the Sun, and gathers around himself the creme de la creme of every society. Sunflower is truly an ideal choice for the ambitious and optimistic Leo.
Buttercup. The tiny, almost inconspicuous buttercup is an ideal flower for the analytical and always thoughtful Virgo. It is a symbol of modesty, practicality and dexterity, but in its simple appearance we also see the image of orderliness and striving for perfection, which certainly adorns the members of this earth sign. Ljutić exudes a classic and elegant look, and at the same time, with its golden yellow color, it is associated with youth, childhood and optimism. Give this flower to a hardworking and capable Virgo, there is no better way to remind her that a little play will not disrupt her daily routine!
Orchid. Widely known for its beauty and gorgeous appearance, the orchid is certainly one of those flowers that will bring a smile to every true Libra's face. It is this zodiac sign that values politeness, elegance, good interpersonal relationships, gentlemanly manners, art and has an innate sense of justice. The orchid can therefore serve as a source of natural energy which, at least for a short time, reminds us that perfection is difficult to achieve but not impossible!
Peony. Apart from the fact that the blood red color of peony is extremely attractive to almost all Scorpios, this flower has always been considered a symbol of passion, lust and wealth. All of this fits perfectly with a fixed watermark that is ready to do its best only when it feels that someone is mystical, seductive enough, and even a little dangerous to waste energy on. Peony, both with its appearance and intoxicating scent, supports Scorpio on the way to the goal and gives him enough strength to face the biggest possible challenges.
Carnation. The typical Sagittarius is an incorrigible optimist who possesses just enough will and strength to defy boredom, melancholy and static on a daily basis. He values his (and other people's!) Freedom more than anything, he does not recognize restrictions, he is ready to philosophize on every given topic, and at the same time he knows how to mask all that with his innate charm and good sense of humor. Just like Sagittarius, carnation conquers with its cuteness and unobtrusive scent, and it has just the right amount of revolutionaryism that brings faith and a smile back to your face in moments when we think that everything is lost.
Day and night. Also known as the tricolor violet or viola, this flower has always been considered a symbol of a unique, unique beauty, one that defies both time and various life circumstances. And really, is there anyone more persistent, resilient and persistent than Capricorn? It would be said that the answer is no, because Capricorn is just like wine, the older the better. And all thanks to his rich life experience that taught him to work hard, he is always one step ahead of others, and most importantly - he saves for the dark days. After the rain comes the sun, after the night comes the day, and Capricorn… Capricorn watches it all with a smile because he has long been prepared for both!
Gladiolus. The simplest explanation for the connection that exists between gladiolus and Aquarius is honesty that disarms. Openness, receptivity, objectivity, communicativeness - these are just some of the qualities that adorn the eleventh zodiac sign. Aquarius values humanity, they search for truth and universal Good, they are incorrigible idealists who try to see a breath of light even in the darkest tunnel. Gladiolus with their saber leaves and proud posture have the power to emphasize Aquarius' positive attitude, but also to encourage them to never give up on their goal and their noble beliefs.
Lotus. Just as every lotus flower hides a perfect combination of beauty, purity and wisdom, so every member of the last zodiac sign sleeps an incorrigible romantic, sensual but often too sensitive to face the harsh everyday life. The lotus is therefore an ideal flower for every Pisces, which serves to remind it that not everything is so black and that even the smallest dose of positive and good can be found in everything that surrounds us. Honest heart, unobtrusive creativity and almost innate intuition are what every Pisces should be proud of - just like a lotus who readily accepted his "power" to sail intact even in the dirtiest waters!
I hope you like flowers, that you liked the idea of giving flowers according to the zodiac sign.

GOD APPEARS: Serbs celebrate Epiphany!
On January 19, the Serbian Orthodox Church and the faithful celebrate the great Christian holiday - Epiphany, with the traditional swimming for the Holy Cross in cities across Serbia.
It is one of the 15 biggest Christian holidays, and on that day, in all churches and temples, the water that people take and bring home is consecrated, because it is believed to have spiritual and healing properties. Churches that respect the Julian calendar celebrate the Epiphany on January 19. Traditional swimming for the Holy Cross is organized throughout Serbia. It swims 33 meters, which symbolizes the number of years of the life of Jesus Christ.
Epiphany is one of the greatest Christian holidays, and accordingly, many folk customs have developed related to the day itself, as well as the night before the Epiphany.
This is the most famous custom related to the Epiphany night. Namely, it is believed that the day before the Epiphany, exactly at midnight, the heavens open. On that occasion, one should look at the sky and imagine wishes that are believed to be sure to come true.
From ancient times, as soon as the sun sets on January 18, our people would begin to greet each other with "God appeared", while the answer to this was "Truly appear". The old people say that today everyone should be quiet and peaceful and that the most important thing is to stay awake until midnight! Namely, it is believed that the night between January 18 and 19 is the time when the sky opens and "God appears". According to the belief, the Epiphany takes place in the "deaf age" and that tonight the sky will dissolve for a moment and the winds that blow in winter will cross with those that blow in summer. At that moment, the people say, all the waters of the world will stop flowing, and the one who finds himself in the open and sees that, will be able to ask God to fulfill one wish.

Strange stories about dollars
Is this a coincidence? Some Divine Power? Or did someone know everything in advance? ”The $ 20 bill announced the unfortunate events.
For decades, dollars have been the target of those who see what others cannot.
The latest theory is current - if you turn $ 20 upside down and fold the face of President Thomas Jefferson, you will notice a completely new face wearing a mask! However, that is not all, because on the banknote turned upside down, it says 20 on the left, and 20 on the right, which is 2020!
When the banknote is made into a plane between the wings, you can see the "twin towers" burning! When such a bent banknote is turned on the other side, you can see another building that was targeted by terrorists - the Pentagon!
Another interesting thing about dollars. Due to a printing error, a rare 20-dollar bill with a sticker of the Ecuadorian banana producer "Del Montea" is currently being sold by the auction house "Heritage auctions", and the last bid received exceeds 57,000 dollars.
It is obvious that the sticker of the banana manufacturer “Del Monte” accidentally fell on the paper and stuck to it before the banknotes entered the final stage of production.
She first appeared in 2003 when a student from a college in Ohio offered her for sale on eBay. For her, he fetched a price of $ 10,000. He then said that he was not a little surprised when the ATM ‘threw out’ a $ 20 banknote with a sticker of the company of the Ecuadorian banana producer “Del Monte”.
Count Vronsky rests in the Serbian monastery of Junis!
The man who served Leo Tolstoy as the inspiration for the character of Count Vronsky in the novel "Anna Karenina", after only 16 days in Serbia, entered our history.
In 1876, Serbia was at war with the Turks. Numerous volunteers from abroad came to help the Serbs, mostly from Russia. Among them was a 30-year-old Russian colonel Nikolai Nikolayevich Rajevski, a descendant of a famous Russian noble family and the grandson of General Rajevski who led the Russian army against Napoleon's invasion.
According to "Anna Karenina", the most translated novel in world literature, after his mistress Karenina threw herself under a train, Count Vronsky volunteered and went to war in Serbia. Tolstoy thus ends the story, and the life of Nikolai Rajevski ended with his death in a battle with the Turks on August 20, 1876, near the village of Gornji Androvac, not far from Aleksinac.
Folk legend says that just a few minutes before his death, Rajevski had lunch, drank wine and, leaving for the position, said: "If I die, leave my heart in Serbia and transfer my body to Russia."
Generations and generations of Serbs have read the works of the masterful Russian writer Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy. Rarely has anyone not read his most famous work "Anna Karenina". However, a small number of people know about the greatest connection between this novel and Serbia. In the heart of Serbia, a few kilometers from Aleksinac, is the village of Gornji Adrovac, which houses the Church of the Holy Trinity, popularly known as the "Russian Church". In its gate, there is a memorial to the bent Russian colonel Nikolai Rajevski. All this would be quite simple, if we overlook the fact that Colonel Rajevski served Tolstoy as an inspiration for the character of Count Vronsky in the work "Anna Karenina".
I can do this ! Club 1 BCH
I have been reading about Club1BCH on the platform for a couple of days now.
I read a few articles on the read.cash platform. They are very motivating.
I have been on the platform for two months. I picked up the money I earned on read.cash on the card and bought New Year's gifts. I realized that effort and work paid off. If you write well, the robot will come, your colleagues will reward you. I was thinking about joining the club. I can do it! I feel super special.
Since this is my only personal source of income, I decided to transfer half of my BCH earnings to the card and half to goal 1 BCH.
So, from today I start and start saving a small amount of BCH per day. By the end of the year I will have my 1 BCH.
#Club1BCH
My current balance....ahahaha
"Grain by grain cake, stone by stone palace."
An old, well-known saying says that everything can be achieved if it is done thoughtfully and patiently.
I set a goal for myself. In order to persevere in this challenge and be even more motivated, I invite my friends to join me, because everything is easier in society.
Imagination can do anything
Every child carries creativity, and the task of parents is to help the child develop imagination and to enjoy that imaginary world together at times. However, sometimes (intentionally or unconsciously) dads and moms stifle children's imagination, for fear that children will not be able to draw the line between imagination and reality.
My son's sister brought me to look after him for a couple of hours. She is pregnant and went to the doctor. I was playing outside with the little one. It's very cold, so we went into the house. We drank tea to warm up and ate fruit.
A bowl full of fruit and fat of my grandson with my help we got wonderful masterpieces.
We are real artists. We enjoyed.
Imagination opens the door to possibilities. It is a place where children's creativity, genius and thinking from a different perspective are born. Imagination and role play are the way young children learn about the world around them. During imaginative play, children manipulate different objects, express themselves verbally and nonverbally, plan (intentionally or unintentionally), act, interact with others, react and try out different roles. Great learning opportunities are when children participate in role play with dolls, cars and carts, dice, marbles, cardboard boxes or when they make different things out of plasticine, lunch or cake by mixing earth and water, drawing, jumping on muddy puddles or pretending to fly.
My tangerine
During cold days, it is necessary to take in as much vitamin C as possible, which can be found in citrus fruits, such as mandarins, lemons, oranges and grapefruits.
One hundred grams of mandarin contains only 34 calories and 30 mg of vitamin C, which is twice as much as oranges, and the breakdown of beta-carotene yields vitamin A, which is very important for good eyesight and beautiful skin.
Mandarin thrives best in areas with a subtropical climate. For her, the most dangerous are low temperatures during November or the beginning of December, but also at the end of March and the beginning of April, considering that early autumn and late spring frosts can destroy its leaves, shoots and fruits.
Serbia has a temperate continental climate, with a gradual transition between the four seasons. Winters are cold so I grow my mandarin in a pot.
Before the first frosts start, I bring her into the house. Last year, it bore fruit for the first time. There were seven of them. I am happy that I managed to raise her, even though the climate in Serbia does cold.
Mandarin is a practical, tasty and healthy snack that provides many nutritional benefits. Vitamin C plays an important role in the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the body. Collagen and elastin are proteins that make up the skin, muscles and other connective tissues. This vitamin is a powerful antioxidant and helps the body remove free radicals, which endanger healthy cells.
It originates from Southeast Asia, and was named after the light orange clothes of mandarins - ancient Chinese public servants - because it was available exclusively to the privileged classes. Although it was cultivated in China for over three thousand years, it did not reach Europe and North America until the 19th century.
I love my hibiscus.
Tropical hibiscus are shrubby plants with beautiful flowers, which in our conditions can only overwinter indoors. Temperatures from 15 to 30C suit them, a lot of sun, but in summer they should be removed from direct sunlight in the hottest part of the day. It does not like very moist soil. They should be watered only when the soil is dry, watered abundantly, but make sure that there is a drainage layer at the bottom of the pot, so that excess moisture would not be retained and cause root rot. In the period from spring to autumn, it should be fertilized once a week, with flower fertilizer, and in winter there is no need for fertilization, unless the plant is standing in a warm and sunny place, then it should be fertilized once a month. In order to provoke flowering, pruning is done in the spring, although it can be done at any time of the year except winter. The main branches are shortened to 2/3, and the other branches are shortened to get a nice shape of the bush. Each cut branch will give several new ones, on the tops of which flowers will form.
It is necessary to replace the soil up to 3 cm of the pot surface with a mixture of humus and fertilizer based on decomposed manure and algae during the year. These are my biscuits at the time of flowering, spring, summer.
It's winter now, my plants are dormant. They have no leaves or flowers. I can’t wait for spring to leaf and bloom again.

Great Serbian holiday !
Saint Basil was born in the time of Emperor Constantine. As an unbaptized man, he studied rhetoric and astronomy for 15 years in Athens. He was baptized on the Jordan River alone with his former teacher Evul. He was the bishop of Caesarea Cappadocia for close to 10 years, and he ended his earthly life, turning 50 years old. He was a great collection of Orthodoxy, morally pure and extremely zealous, a theological mind, the founder and pillar of the holy church.
In the church service, he is called the "bee of the church of Christ", which carries honey among the believers and stings heretics with its sting. Therefore, on this day you should take a spoonful of honey. Vasiljevdan is celebrated by Serbs as a baptismal feast, and by Greeks and Russians as a name day. When January 1 was taken as the calendar beginning of the new year, then Little Christmas began to be celebrated as the Serbian New Year. Many customs are associated with this day, and there are also superstitions about what should not be done on this day. In Vojvodina, there was a custom, which has remained in some places until today, to light fires at crossroads, which, in addition to the cleansing effect, also has the role of strengthening sunlight and heat. On Christmas Day, January 14, Christmas Eve is brought in again, the position is coming again, and the head of the Christmas pechenitsa is on the table, which is kept until that day. In many parts, the remains of Christmas Eve are burned, in some places a special ritual bread, basil, is kneaded, in memory of Saint Basil the Great. The New Year should be welcomed awake, so in this vigil, many girls wondered if they would get married that year and when. Among these divinations, the divination of girls in Bosnia is especially interesting - before dawn, they climbed to the attic and threw their shoes out the door, so if the shoes, when they fall, are directed away from home - it is a sign that they will get married. Today, quarrels should be avoided so that they do not quarrel all year round.
Happy New Orthodox Year!
The New Year brings with it many unforgettable parties that we will remember and retell throughout the year. Positive vibrations in the air, smiling people, good music and plenty of great food and drinks. A night in which the happiness of family and friends is most important and when the song echoes in every home. Among Serbs, this mood appears once again during the year - on January 13, when not only the Serbian New Year is celebrated, but also two more important holidays for our and all Orthodox peoples - St. Basil the Great and Little Christmas.
Old New Year or Orthodox New Year (Serbian New Year) is an informal traditional Orthodox holiday, celebrated as the beginning of the new year according to the Julian calendar. In Serbia, the Old New Year is most often called the Serbian New Year, and sometimes the Orthodox New Year or the Julian New Year.
Instead of an open-air concert and gathering of citizens in the city center, the Orthodox New Year will be marked in a slightly different way, with the performance of local artists, which will be held in the studio, and citizens will be able to watch them on small screens. Traditionally, the New Year according to the Julian calendar was, among other things, marked with concerts that were held at the gates of the Temple of Christ the Savior in the city center. This will not be possible this year due to the current epidemiological situation, which prohibits the gathering of a large number of citizens in one place, for fear that the coronavirus infection may spread.
Teach children to get along !
Rivalry between children does not come from feelings that are unique to each other, but from their need for parents to love them. It seems that every child wants to be loved the most.
What triggers the battle between the children is the subconscious competition for mom and dad's love, approval and attention.
Psychologists believe that conflicts between siblings are not bad in themselves. On the contrary, they can be fertile ground for learning important social skills that include compromise, negotiation, and empathy.
Rivalry can be reduced by devoting yourself to each child separately. This is an important step and do not leave it to chance, but provide regular uninterrupted time for the special interests of each child, whether it is cycling once a week or going to the cinema once a month.
Set family rules
By defining rules and clear expectations of children, you set the highest possible level of respect among them. This means that they must not mock each other, hit or use any physical force. If you do not already have established rules of conduct, write them down on a large piece of paper and explain to the children what they mean. You should be consistent and also define the consequences if the child does not follow the rules.
Teach children to solve a problem on their own
It is very important to show the children how to resolve the conflict in a peaceful way. Children, just like adults, will have differences of opinion and desires, but it is important to prevent it from turning into a fight. Give each child the opportunity to express their wishes and help them reach a possible solution. Once children adopt this model of problem solving, parents will not need constant intervention.
Play games together
Establish activities, hobbies and projects that will encourage cooperation among children. Even if the children are not close in age or do not seem to have anything in common, there are always opportunities for joint cooperation. Take the example of making a greeting card for someone - each child can contribute in their own way given their talent and abilities. For example, a younger child can decorate the front of a greeting card and an older child can write a message. When children treat each other with respect and have a common goal and / or interest, they will start spending more quality time together. The study showed that the average child spends a third of their free time with siblings - which is more than they spend with anyone else, including parents and friends. The relationship with siblings is the longest relationship your children will have in life.

She became a fashion icon for all time!
Leslie Lawson, better known by the nickname Twiggy, was born on September 19, 1949. In the mid-60s, her popularity actually began, and she was known for her thinness, which is why she got her nickname. She was chosen British Woman of the Year, 1966, worked in France, Japan, America, and was on the cover of Vogue. Even then, Twiggy was targeted by critics. Although there were those for whom her appearance was phenomenal, others described her boyish style and skinny appearance as unhealthy.
In the sixties of the XX century, a new face was discovered in London, which will soon become the most famous model in the world! With his small build and big eyes, Twiggy will conquer the world and influence the appearance of completely new tendencies and aesthetics in fashion. Her small build becomes an ideal that everyone is starting to strive for. In addition to her specific appearance, Twiggy is one of the first to use her success in modeling to try out other fields such as film, music and television. Twiggy was even more popular in America than in Europe - even one Barbie was modeled after her. Her trip to America was aimed at promoting her fashion line, as well as collaborating with one of the greatest fashion photographers of all time, Richard Avedon, which will only strengthen her position as a supermodel.
When Twiggy appeared, everyone wanted to be skinny like her, to have a hairstyle like hers, to wear makeup like her… She became a fashion icon for all time!
She was only 16 years old when, in a short period of time, she crossed the path from an anonymous high school student to an international supermodel. It all started with one simple visit to the hairdresser. When the young Leslie Hornby allowed the famous British hairdresser Leonard to cut her long blonde hair, the high school student could not even dream that that decision would radically change her life.
Twiggy, she's 71 today and she's not that skinny anymore.
Twiggy is still active in the world of fashion - she has been creating clothes for women her age for a long time, she runs a blog, she appears at big events ... Also, her autobiographical book "Twiggy in Black and White" ended up on the bestseller list. and the last album she released was "Romantically Yours" from 2011.
Take care of your weight !
Obesity is a serious chronic disease that leads to numerous health complications with a consequent reduction in the quality and length of life. It is said that life expectancy is shortened by a month for every half kilogram over the ideal body weight. Obesity is considered one of the biggest health problems in the world today. It is especially worrying that obesity is becoming more common in children as well. Of particular concern is the fact that diabetes appears as early as puberty, as well as high blood pressure, which leads to atherosclerosis and changes in the heart.
The body mass index (BMI) shows us the relationship between weight and height of our body. You can find a BMI calculator and calculate your body mass index online I did it and here are the results 31.2 I belong to obesity Overweight is divided into three categories: overweight (BMI in women is between 24 and 30, in men between 25 and 30), obesity (adipositas, BMI in women and men is between 30 and 40) and severe obesity is in women and men over 40). If you are overweight, you should definitely go to the doctor and nutritionist, because there is an increased risk of heart and blood vessel diseases. Obesity is something that affects women and men, as well as children of all walks of life. We are talking about obesity if the body mass index in men and women is between 30 and 40, and about strong obesity if the BMI is above 40. If this happens to you, be sure to see your doctor to check your health, blood pressure and blood count. Heart and blood vessel diseases are common when people have a high body mass index. In such cases, the distribution of body fat plays a key role. People who are of the "apple" type have the most fat deposits in the middle of the body, ie. around the internal organs. That is why these people have a higher risk of heart and blood vessel diseases afterwards. People of the "pear" type with fatty deposits on the hips and thighs are less endangered. If the body gets too much energy, ie. more than it can consume, that energy is converted into fat. Over time, you gain extra pounds. Reasons for being overweight can also be metabolic diseases, e.g. decreased thyroid function or diabetes, as well as hormonal changes during pregnancy or menopause. In case of obesity or severe obesity, you must reduce your body weight. In this way, you will not only help your locomotor system, but with the loss of every kilogram, you will reduce the risk of heart and blood vessel diseases, cancer, diabetes, gout, heart attack or stroke.

OBESITY CHANGE HABITS You weigh a little more. If you move enough and change your diet, you will easily get rid of the excess. Your ideal weight is just a step away from you!
We can come across many children online. Chrono diet, medical diet, grapefruit diet, UN diet, diet by blood groups .... I personally tried a few, I managed to lose a few pounds, which came back quickly.
Kidneys can be damaged, hair can fall out, blood pressure can fall. My recommendation is to eat three main meals of two servings, increased physical activity. Food is not ingested after 6 p.m. Meals should be low in calories.

Stealing a baby from the maternity ward !
Cases of theft of babies from maternity hospitals are the most widespread violation of human rights in Serbia. Many parents who were told in the hospital that their children died shortly after birth suspect that their children were actually abducted from them, due to numerous irregularities and illogicalities that occurred (the child was born healthy, the parents were never shown the child's body, autopsy findings are were deficient, death certificates had inaccurate data…).
How many mothers are in Serbian maternity hospitals heard the sentence: "Mother, your baby has died, you are young, you will have more children, the hospital will bury your baby." The doctors lied to us, the baby did not die, many mothers did not have the opportunity to do so yet, and no hospital buried any children. To date, no doctor in Serbia has been held accountable for the lie told.
Parents have founded the association and are trying to find out the truth, to their children. Reports for the theft of newborn children have been submitted by unhappy parents in Serbia since the 1950s, it is estimated that more than 20,000 cases have been reported to date.Parents looked at the records of their lost children in confusion and marveled at the illogicalities - the weight did not match, the time of birth ... a baby born healthy would die after only a few days with a fatal diagnosis. After the death, the documentation on the dead babies would sometimes disappear due to the sudden flood of the facility ... According to the parents, the canal went from Serbia to Paris, from where the children were sold further across Europe, most often to Switzerland. One child, it is said, "cost" from 12,000 to 40,000 euros, and everything depends on who his parents are, whether they are educated, how old they are, etc. ... For almost seven decades, generations of parents have changed through maternity hospitals, losing children under strange and illogical circumstances.
This is not only happening in Serbia, there have been cases in America and Spain, and a few months ago there was a big affair with stolen babies in Romania. In recent years, that number seems to be declining, primarily due to changed "policy" in maternity hospitals. First of all, the child is placed on the mother's breast immediately after birth, so she sees it, touches it before the child is taken away. Secondly, with the introduction of the so-called baby friendly program in maternity hospitals, the baby is constantly with the mother, so the possibility of "something happening" to the child without the mother noticing it is reduced…
Thanks to DNA analysis, it is now much easier to determine whether they are really genetically related. However, despite that, many found children do not want to accept the fact that their real parents are people who did not grow up with them. It is, above all, a great emotional shock for the child himself. In most cases, children refuse to accept that, because they are afraid that they will have to choose between their biological parents and those who consider them dad and mom, who raised them. Most of those children, many of whom are adults today, had no idea how they got into the families in which they grew up.
Mladjen Radivojevic (38) from Aleksinac is the first person proven to have been stolen as a baby. The names of his parents in all postpartum documents, including registry books - are fictitious. Neither mother nor father exists! Mladjan was only three months old when he was given up for adoption. When he himself had three children, I wanted to know who gave birth to him. He went in search. The birth certificate contains parents who do not exist. Two women who gave birth in the same hospital at the same time responded. kad and Mladjan. DNA analysis will soon show whether he found his biological parents
Let mistakes be our journey to success.
I hope you make mistakes in this New 2021. Because if you make them, it means that you are trying something new, learning, living, pushing yourself further, changing yourself, but also the world around you. Do things you have never done before, without fear of any condemnation! Don't stiffen, don't stop, don't worry that what you're doing isn't good enough, or that it's not perfect, whatever it is: art, love, work, family, or quite simply - life. Whatever you are afraid of, do it. Get rid of your fears. You're wrong this year too.
On the road to success, it is quite normal for mistakes to happen to us. Whether they are big or small, we consider them bad or even worse, because of them we feel unsuccessful. What we don't know is that we actually learn on a trial and error basis - that's how our mind works.
It is important what attitude we have towards mistakes, because they can be a great tool for creativity and inspiration. Because of mistakes, we have been rebuked since we were little, and if it weren't for them, we wouldn't have learned or developed.
By studying complex systems we can find a surprising connection between those who are successful. Their success is built through trial and error.
Mistakes need to be accepted and appreciated. Based on them, we will learn how to do something new. Let mistakes be our journey to success.
Winter idyll
I woke up earlier this morning than usual and looked out the window. Large white snowflakes were falling. The first snow! How I just rejoiced! I ran outside all happy to have the opportunity to participate in this winter magic. The roofs of the houses already had white snow caps, the ground a thick carpet, and the trees beautiful winter dresses. Fir trees stand proudly like snow queens and greet the first snow. Everything is somehow brighter and more beautiful! Every bush, every corner shines and shines like in a real fairy tale.
Children, nature and ski lovers are most looking forward to the snow. Road workers and drivers hate him. Older people don't like it either because of the increased costs around heating and daily cleaning of paths and paths.
Everything was covered with snow, red tiles on the houses, the concrete roofs of the buildings, the branches were bent by the weight of the snow cover that fell on them. Winter idyll, I thought, as the snow began to blow harder and harder. I watched it all through the window, drinking a cup of fruit tea, then the idea came to me - so I didn't grow up so much that I couldn't make one Snowman. And we love winter magic. I grabbed a scarf, hat and gloves, pulled on my jacket and boots and ran down the stairs. Silver, delicate snowflakes fell on all sides and glued to my jacket and hat, and I joined the clinch from the neighborhood in their winter magic.
It's cold, my fingers are cold, my cheeks are flushed, but every first snow brings back my childhood memories. All the holiday with my grandparents in the village, my sister and I, relatives, friends from the area, run to a closer hill, each ride our sledges and fly on them as fast as a bullet. And so every day, from morning to night, when we have to return home, where a hot drink and a cinnamon cake are waiting for us.
I am returning to the house. It is nice to watch them through the window of a warm home. The youngest children from the neighborhood flew outside at dawn, I hear the sound of their joy and excitement from the winter magic and that takes me back to my childhood, to the days when it was only it is important who will win the war with the lumps, who will last longer in the snow so as not to freeze and get wet. Let them enjoy, it's nice for me to watch the snow through the window. I love snow, but I'm still a woman of my age. Don't let some new kids.
Learns from mistakes !
When some kind of failure happens to us (on a business or private level), it seems to us that all the ships have sunk and that the failure we have experienced is a defeat from which we will never recover, the most painful thing that has happened to us. However, ups and downs are something that always happens in life and every defeat should in some way be seen as an opportunity to achieve some new victory.
Life is a challenge, but we are stronger than that challenge, because we are the ones who live it, he "does not live" us, and that is a challenge worth fighting for. We choose, we win, we want, we own our lives. A smile is the only crooked line that corrects things, unfortunately statistics show that we laugh less and less, and laughter and optimism are part of a healthy step through life.
Each of us has experienced some failure at some point in our lives. Defeat is a kind of universal principle. We lose jobs, get divorced, spend money in an irrational way, get into debt zad When these traumas occur, the situations we find ourselves in are also more or less familiar to everyone: denial, isolation, anger, depression and ultimately acceptance. However, the way we fight all of this is not as important as how we remember the losing experience. The greatest defeats are not forgotten. They become an integral part of our lives and ask us to embrace them or perish, there is no third. The great thing about surviving these storms is that we are much better prepared the next time the wind starts to blow. The first symptoms are noticed immediately, and then we just need to focus on the most important ones. Once the defeat is pushed over the head, the most important feeling is that, no matter what happens, we can always start from the beginning again. In a way, defeat makes us ready in a way that success never succeeds. Defeats should always be seen as temporary accidents. Injuries should be seen as red flags that signal weak spots in our body. If we support them well, we will never give up in the race again. Even when it seems to us that everything went wrong, we should not panic. We need to look back and see how we got into this chaos. If the situation that bothers us is viewed from several aspects, it can still seem that what happened to us turns out to be the best thing that could have happened to us in the given circumstances.
