Gift giving time The New Year is approaching, the time of giving. Most people want to express love and gratitude by giving gifts, but the feeling of togetherness and giving should be nurtured throughout the year, and not just during the holidays. Giving is a special kind of joy and it does not have to have material value. Every day we have many opportunities to give someone a smile, support, a gesture of attention, a nice word.
This is my home. My modest Christmas tree, but very dear to me. We are a family of five, multigenerational. The oldest member of my family is my mom. She is 77 years old. The youngest is my daughter. She is 20 years old. We all live together in the same house and we are very harmonious.
New Year's holidays, celebrations and holidays around Christmas are very important for all family members. Then everyone gathers, socializes, gets to know each other better and it is a time of joy. Our family has a secret Santa Claus. And if we are all adults, we look forward to gifts. A week before the holiday, we pull out the papers with the name and each of us buys a gift for the one he pulled out.
Here we have all fulfilled our promise. Gifts are under the Christmas tree. Each of us packed a gift, wrote the name and put it under the Christmas tree. Opening of the gift tomorrow. I'm really happy. I am still a child at heart.
