So I was curious about the logo. The logo means to represent yourself. Or that's what I thought. And I was hoping to make one for myself and represent me. For days, weeks, and months I made several types of logos. I can't decide at first but this last one is what I decided to be My Logo. Each one is made with time. I never thought making a logo for yourself is hard like this.
Here are some of what I made this past week.
I went to Far Eastern University. Every university has there own mascots. FEU is a green and gold tamaraw. So I tried to make one just like that. But I don't feel like using it.
I love movies and series about the detective. My favorite is Sherlock Holmes. Played by Benedict Cumberbatch

I think I like it. Simple and kinda look like a bunny 🐰 too.

HIMYM "I can't stop watching"
The sitcom How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM) is one of my favorite series so far. If you have Netflix probably you already know this. I watched it last 2017, It was the first time seeing it. Then I started the first episode again when the pandemic occurs. Until now, I keep watching it. At work, at home even in the bathroom. LOL.
The series gets me hooked up since the first episode. Marshall kneeling to Ted for a practice proposal for Lily. Haha. The sitcom is incredibly well-produced that I thought for the first time seeing its title will be gooey and romantic.
But I fell in love with the cast. Especially Barney Stinson (played by Neil Patrick Harris). He keeps the sitcom more alive. Even for a girl like me who is hopelessly romantic. He made me realize that being with a girl (or should I say many girls. Haha) is always a challenge. And falling in love is for everybody. Even you say you don't want it. With all his challenges he must tell or should his friends know it.
The sitcom is all about Ted's journey How he met his wife. Telling the story to his kids in the year 2030. That he promised to himself that he will tell them all about it. Literally from the start. Ted made me think, is there really a man like him in the real world. He is like a perfect best friend, husband, and father. After the first series, it got me more curious, like his kids, on how he met his wife. But some parts, all I noticed is how he met Robin.
Robin Sherbatsky (played by Cobie Smulders) is one of the casts and Ted's friends after she rejects him. Not really rejects cause, oh you know, she likes him too but for her, Ted is not "casual". Before Ted and Robin become the best friend, Ted wants to be with her boyfriend. Then eventually he accepts that she is not a mother/wife material.
Lily Aldrin (played by Alyson Hannigan) is Ted, Robin, and Barney's best friend. Marshall's girlfriend. She is the one keeping the balance. Her vote always counts. She and Marshall are like parents to the three.
Marshall Eriksen (played by Jason Segel) is, of course, the boyfriend of Lily. Marshall is a type of guy that is called "stick to one". He is an obedient son, boyfriend, and father. He is more like a big baby but can rule and be a judge. He is Ted's best friend.
Whenever I watched HIMYM, they always make me smile. Episode to episode. Laughing like lunatic everywhere. Haha.
The sitcom is so successful for me to be an avid fan even on FB. Every meme and videos are hilarious.

My Papa
My papa is my biological father. My papa is my first love. When I was a little girl. He's the only one who took care of us. Because then my Mama had to go to Japan to work. Since she left, my Papa is miserable. He misses Mama so much. He drunk himself all night. I don't know what's happening to him that days. I only remember was when he was so drunk he throws the bottle downstairs and told me, your Mama doesn't want me anymore. But the bottle doesn't break. He picks it up again and again and again. Until he cried his eyes out to sleep.
At first, I was so confused. What is he doing? What happened?
My Papa is not always like that. If he is not drinking He is a sweet guy. Everybody loves my Papa. I love my Papa. He is a reliable man. He provides for us. He helps my aunt and uncles with electrical works. I'm always by his side.
Then one day we got a phone call. My Mama is calling from Japan. She told me if I wanted to visit Grandma in the province. I said, "whatever Papa and Ate wants". Ate means older sister.
And then we visit grandma, we sailed by a ship.
When we got to grandma's place we saw Auntie Lydia, my mama's sister, she welcomes us with her dishes. I love her dishes. Grandma's place is near the ocean. When Papa is with Ate at the seaside. Auntie Lydia approaches me. Gives me dried mango for a snack and ask me if I wanted to stay. She meant to stay for good. I don't know what to say at first. Yes, grandma's place is awesome. But what about Ate, whos going to highschool this coming semester, and I will be in grade three. I look at auntie Lydia and said: " Whatever Ate wants."
Past a month we have to get back to our homeplace.
Papa is back at his drinking habits. Until I was going to grade six. Mama called again to tell us we have to get an apartment and be separated from him. My memory of it was vague. Maybe because I don't want that time to stay with me. But I remember one thing, what papa said to me, "Bunso (means my youngest child), this is how far your Mama and I can be together, go with your sister and continue your studies. Be a good girl. I will be alright. I want you and your sister to have what I cant give you. And your Mama can provide it all for you. I love you."
I didn't have any idea what he was saying that day. I didn't shed any tears. I'm so young I thought we were just separating because they had a fight. And just for a while.
Now I understand them all. I can't imagine why I didn't get angry at that time. Why I didn't tell them to not fight. Not call it the end. I'm so weak.
When my Papa found a new partner he can be with. I was so jealous. Then I realize, she made papa smile. She is with him and Papa is happy. Then I will be happy too.
Now they are in Mindanao, far away from us. But he still manages to message me and Ate whenever he has free time. And become my number one fan at FB. LOL.
I just want to say to you, Papa. I love you to the moon. 3000. Hehe and will always be in my heart.

A little Birthday celebration
Yes! I'm officially out of calendar. 32nd birthday today! I would like to share and write an article about this day just to be more memorable.
Every month of June before this month, July, I never or crossed my mind to celebrate my birthday. But when I met my partner's family. It all changed. They are so optimistic about birthday and celebrations. They are composed of a father and mother, the head, and their four siblings. Every one of their siblings has their own spouses now. Before I met them it was just the two older ones.
Every birthday of each is noted and not in the same month.
So when my partner introduced me to them. I was so happy. And they were all delightful.
But now when a pandemic occurred. It was their youngest daughter's birthday. Even then, her husband tried to get the job and celebrate a little.
Now, still with a pandemic, and a month past after I started working again. I want to celebrate not just my birthday but a Thanksgiving too. Thanking God for protecting our family to the virus. Thanking Him that we are still fighting for the life that He has given us. Thanking everybody who is brave enough to cure and prevent the spread. Thanking all of you for staying at home.

Small lie counts?
When I was thinking about what to write today. I browse a little at my FB account. I saw a video of Nas Daily about his persistence and failure is not an option when making a company or any business. Then my sister messaged me about the data of her partner not being extended. I just realized why men lie?
It kept me thinking my partner does it too.
I remember when he doesn't tell me that his data will expire too. Even I reminded him to tell me when the network texts him to prompt him a day before it expires. I just noticed his phone lit up when he is in the bathroom. I checked it and the network text is that his data is expired. Like telling me is too big of a gesture. Data network is our way to connect to the internet. For him, all he does is play ML (Mobile Legend Bang Bang) with it. Its not that I make it a big deal but the data is not cheap. 90 pesos ($2) for 7days. I you will just extend it. There is a cheaper way than adding another 90 pesos and only for 7days.
And to top it up. He sometimes tells me No, even Yes is the answer?

Binoculars and Cellphone Combined

His story is when he was in his teenager, he likes taking pictures as a stress reliever. Because of COVID 19, he got a lot of free time and gets his old binoculars took out the lens serve as a do it yourself camera lens and start taking pictures with his phone.
