Oops, it had been 2 years since my visit in Malaysia?
How time flies, It had been 2 years since my last trip with my wife in Malaysia, but it just feels like we had done for the trip last week.
Obviously it was the last trip with my wife before the outbreak of the COVID all over the world, as we went Malaysia back in end of Jan 2020 that the COVID was starting to spread at that time.
How could we know there's a unprecedented pandemic waiting for us, we were just feeling so exciting that we were going to travel Malaysia for our Chinese New Year Holiday, we couldn't wait to get in the aircraft in the airport as I remember.
But hey, there was something I had to do before boarding the aircraft, getting the pocket wifi, it was so important to get the pocket wifi to save your roaming cost for the internet, so you can see I was queuing to get my pocket wifi on the picture above.
My wife and I couldn't wait to take off after we get in the plane, but sounds it was going to take sometime to wait everyone boarding, so we simply took a selfie first.
After waiting for approximately 30 mins, the plane finally took off, and time to sleep, haha. The airline crew had awoken us for the meal after 2 and half hours of flight, and I saw my wife was trying to take some picture of the air, em, I had no idea where were we when she took the pictures, probably in the air of Malaysia already? Not sure…
After couples of hours of flight, we finally landed in the KL Airport, we went to exchange the money in the exchange shop after we collected our luggage, then we took a Grab (is the Apps called Grab for vehicle pick up services in Malaysia? I’m not sure, any friend can confirm me please?)
It took us about 60 mins from the airport to Intercontinental hotel in KL, I could see my wife couldn’t wait to get on the room as the weather was super-hot. But she had no idea I had a little surprised for her, I told the staff that this trip was our post wedding honey moon, and tried to ask them to prepare something else to surprise her.
And here we go, you can see they have given us a very nice cake and they did decor the beg very romantic, yeah. My wife went very shy when she saw what I have prepared for her. Haha.
US or HK Style?
Happy new year guys, wish all of you have a good start of the year. Today I didn't go out as I stayed up quite late for counting down last night, actually I didn't plan to do so as I could only do that via a video call with my wife.
But she did want to do that with me, fine, so I gotta accompany my lovely wife to count down for the 2022.
My mom doesn't feel very well today either as she got a very bad odontalgia which making her in really bad mood, I didn't dare to bother her of course, so I did take care the meal for myself.
She didn't even had mood to prepare for the dinner for herself and me tonight still, then I simply went down to get a take out food for her. Well, getting a vegetarian for her for tonight is fitting to her condition of tonight thought, it's easier for her to chew.
I didn't want to have Chinese food for tonight as I already had dinner at this cafe after I off for work last night, then I just went to McDonald to get a fast food. It's nothing special to the western friends seeing the McDonald/KFC etc, what about the HK style food in Chinese cafe? Do you have interested to try or you would say "I'm good, I still prefer the US fast food" ?

今日想同大家介紹下旺角既日本動漫迷天堂 - 信和中心, 係呢到你可以搵到最新既電視遊視, J Pop 既CD / DVD, 各款卡通模型,日系雜誌, 日本品牌既小物品例如 Hello Kitty, My melody, AP 鴨等等.
This shopping center has got 3 floors and 1 basement floor, personally prefer to take a walk at the basement first as all the Japanese Magazines shops and J-Pop CD shops are stationed in the basement.
呢個商場有3層同一層地庫, 個人比較喜歡行左地庫先, 因為所有賣日本雜誌/CD既鋪頭都集中係地庫.
You can always find the latest or out-of-print Magazines or CD at those shops. The shops owner will figure out to get the things you wanted. I know I know, the new generation no longer buy the physical music discs nowadays, some people still wanted to buy them as their collection anyway. That's why these shops can still survived today.
黎到呢到, 無論你想搵最新既雜誌/CD, 或者係絕版貨都好, 都難唔到呢到既老闆, 只要你講得出, 佢地好大機會可以搵到比你. 我知我知, 你地想講而家新一代人都冇人會買實體CD啊嘛,不過總有人會喜歡買黎做收藏品架嘛,所以佢地到今時今日都仲生存緊.

Basically the 1/2/3 floor(s) are selling the similar stuff, therefore I don't have to visit all floors to take pictures, you can find a lot of cartoon figures like Dragon Ball Super, One Piece, Final Fantasy, etc. Beside the figures, you can also find the other cartoon merchandises like stickers, puzzles.

哈佬咁多位, 今日我想同大家介紹下我地係旺角超有名既夜市,女人街 (正式名稱係通菜街)
Maybe you guys would have question about the name of the street, is there have got many ladies selling water spinach? Of course nope, Ladies Market is always a treat to visit with the rows of open stalls as well as tiny boutiques offering a wide range of different fashions, accessories, gadgets and gimmicks.
可能大家會有個疑,點解通菜街會叫女人街? 個到係咪好多女人賣通菜? 答案就梗係唔係啦. 女人街係一條有各種街邊擋擺賣唔同既潮流衣物/手袋, 飾物,有香港特色既紀念品同埋啲一啲搞笑既野
I guess many stalls are closed due to the corona virus and they don't expect there will be so much tourists recently, fortunately there are still some stalls opening for me to take a pictures for you guys, as I see the stalls are mainly selling toys and bags when I was there.
我估可能因為疫情既關係, 有好多擋攤都冇開,可能佢地覺得呢排冇遊客會黎,所以費事開擋晒精神.現場見到有開既擋口都係啲賣玩具, 手袋之類既野.
The length of the ladies market is about 1 KM, they have got approximately 120 stalls there, you need to cross 4 blocks if you planned to walk through the whole market.
女人街大約有一公里長, 成個市集大約有120個攤擋, 如果你想行晒成條女人街,你應該要過4條馬路.

Never forget to bargain with the owner of the stall when you decide to buy stuff in the market, the prices in the market are vary, it can be 30%+ different on the same product, so, remember always bargaining or comparing with other stalls when you buy stuff there.
大家如果要係女人街買野, 記得記得要講價, 因為呢個市集啲價錢好海鮮價,同一樣野係唔同擋口,價錢可以差左成30%以上.所以,一定要講價或者行多幾擋先好買.
The above plaza is out of the ladies market, but I know that there is a Bitcoin ATM in there, so I take a pictures of this plaza to you guys incidentally.
跟住落黎講既呢個商場其實唔係女人街既範圍之內,不過我知佢有個bitcoin ATM,所以順便照下比大家睇下.
This plaza is similar to Ladies Market, most of them are selling trendy accessories, clothes, bags, etc. the only different is that their target customers are the local teenagers.

Yesterday I introduced the Fa Yuen Street (Sport Shoes Street) to you guys, today I am going to introduce the Soy Street where is next to Fa Yuen Street
琴日同大家介紹左花園街 (波鞋街), 今日一於介紹佢隔離個條鼔油街.
This street is not selling Soy ok, they do have many good shops for snacks and good HK Style cafe around, say, you can see the "明苑粉麵" on above picture where you can enjoy the fabulous Wonton noodles there.
大家唔好比條街名呃左,呢條街絕對唔係賣鼔油, 大家係到可以吃到好多不同既小食或者港式茶餐廳. 例如上圖既明苑粉麵, 大家係個到可以吃到好正既港式雲吞麵
If the wonton noddle is not a cup of your tea, you may try the Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet in this Hot Star shop, this shop is very famous in Taiwan, their chicken cutlet is incredibly big and tasty, you must add it in your to eat list if you are fancy in the fried stuff.

Took a walk in Sport Shoes Street / 波鞋街行一圈
Although today I don't have to work, I don't want to sleep until 1 pm like yesterday, I set an alarm at 9 am this morning then I started to read some blog on here read.cash, and went down to have a breakfast because my mom told me that she is super tired last night, I didn't want to wake her up, so I simply went down for breakfast alone.

I was struggling where should I go to take a walk at afternoon, I wanted to go temple street but usually they open at night, I don't want to go out so late, therefore I decided to Mong KoK Fai Yuen Street (Sport Shoes Street) instead.
今朝我猶豫左好耐下晝要去邊到行, 本來好想去廟街, 但佢地夜晚先開架嘛,我又唔想咁夜先出去,所以我就改去花園街 (波鞋街) 啦.
I was lucky, there was a mini bus waiting for me when I went down to the street, then I don't have to waste time to wait for the bus, I deliberately got off from the bus earlier to take more street view images to show you guys. the following pictures are the brand new apartment and shopping mall in recent years at Nelson Street.

Taking few steps away from Nelson Street, we are arriving the Fa Yuen Street (Sport Shoes Street), do you know why this street has got a name called sport shoes street, and people used to call it sport shoes street instead of Fa Yuen Street actully. Because you can see the whole streets are full of sport shoes shops, you don't have to visit another place for shopping for a sport shoes if you are living nearby Mong Kok, they have got all new items and styles you wanted.
由奶路臣街行前幾步,我地就到花園街(波鞋街), 知唔知點解我地慣左叫呢到做波鞋街,而唔叫呢到花園街呢? 因為呢到成條街都係波鞋鋪, 如果你係住旺角附近既話, 你就唔使去其他地方買鞋, 呢到有齊所有新款波鞋.

The official name of the street is called "Fa Yuen Street"
呢條街正式既名其實係叫花園街
Same to the other famous areas in Hong Kong , Fa Yuen Street is always jam, you will go crazy if you need to drive there.
同香港其他旺區一樣, 花園街係由朝塞到晚,如果你要開車去呢到,我保證你會發癲.
I almost forgot I don't take a lunch, no wonder I am so hungry, so I just take a bus to get home after I took the above pictures, then I went to cake shop to get some cakes before dinner.
掛住影相,都唔記得左原來我冇食午飯,所以我拿拿臨影完相就坐車返屋企, 之後係樓下買左幾件西餅黎食.
