Quality of a friend for teenagers

During adolescence, teenagers begin to explore the world outside their homes. They no longer limit themselves to the world within their families. They make many friends and join company of the other teenagers in school and in the community. Friends add meaning to their life. Friends are there rejoice and happiness, to encourage in frustration and defeats, and to comfort in sorrows and bitterness. Joys are complete when they are shared with friends. Experiences become enriching when they have friends to share them with. Hobbies and other activities become more enjoyable and interesting when they do it with their friends. *It is hard to find someone whom you can call a friend. If ever you already found the one you should learn to keep him/her for the rest of your life.* ***Friendship*** is spontaneous, mutually desired, and self-sustaining a relationship. It involves a lasting relationship between an individual with similar attitudes, ideas, values, and goals in life. Thus, a friend is somebody whom they enjoy being with even if they are with their own family. A friend is also the person whom they can share their dreams as they grow up to be more mature people. Friends are important in the process of growing up. Their relationship with friends will provide opportunities to realize that people differ in so many ways. They differ because what they have inherited from their parents and the ways they have been oriented in their respective families and communities differ. They need friends to be able to develop their capacity to understand human nature, and it will help a lot to adjust to different types of people whom they will meet in a lifetime. Qualities for looking for a friend the true ones. *Bring joy to life especially when you are trouble. *warmth you in times of trouble. *Inspires and encourage you in which is good and right for you. *Understand you even when your family cannot. *Stand up to your anger in times when you change your mood. *helps you recognize and utilize your talents. *cries and laugh with you. *enjoys playing and working with you. *gives you moral support and sympathy during times of failures. *tells you honestly your mistakes taking care not to hurt your feelings. *Congratulates you when you succeed.
