*Friday afternoon* *Assignments are set aside* *Braided rubber bands on one hand* *A white cotton towel on the other* *Excited heart inside her chest* *A smile tattooed on her lips* *She meets with her friends and played* *Under one of those big mango trees* *They hopscotch 'til they drop* *Running 'til they can't catch their breaths* *Laughing at others mistakes* *And laughing again when they make one* *When duak comes, there are also the goodbyes* *Tomorrow is Saturday* *And assignments will once again be forgotten* -Arandia Reading this takes me back when I'm still a kid just playing and running on our school's court with my friends. It's when my worries are nothing compared to now. Everything's just so simple and fun. Good night everyone and have a nice weekend ☺️

Wonderful poem. use to be that routine also when i was a kid and as a student, having time with friends ,playing outdoor and going back to assignments when i got home, still no worries, no pressure as a child.
Yes that's the routine. i feel you~
Those childhood days are really awesome. I was so carefree and happy, without thinking much of the world around me. How nostalgic.
it really is nostalgic ♡
