I love #Noise. And I like it #quiet #deutsch unten When I use noise and find a #channel I like to contribute to, since the abolishment of #chambers I more and more often find abandoned #channels. See for example https://noise.cash/post/lgkm3w96 or https://noise.cash/post/l9zxjvw3 First I try on occasion nevertheless a contribution in such channels, and am then completely disquieted, until a #Moderator reacts. Because if there is no active moderator anymore, a post fails after 24 hours. At least I have already learned that my post is not lost with that. It is displayed in my feed during the waiting time with "Pending approval" in the upper right corner. And when the rejection is there, I get notified about it and then get the options to delete the post, publish it to my feed or copy/paste it elsewhere before making a decision. I now have another channel started myself as well and am exploring the current moderation options. It is possible to freely allow posts and only moderate comments. I find that interesting. Whereas that can lead to channels being orphaned just the same. That's why I like it when there are no restrictions, like with chambers back then. But I'm happy to try it all out with you, instead of failing again elsewhere. And then maybe I'll change the settings again before I'm gone one day. Und ich mag #Ruhe** Wenn ich Noise nutze und einen #Kanal finde, in den ich etwas beitragen mag, finde ich seit Abschaffen der #Kammern (Chambers) immer öffter verlassene #Kanäle. Siehe beispielsweise https://noise.cash/post/lgkm3w96 oder https://noise.cash/post/l9zxjvw3 Zunächst probiere ich in solchen Kanälen bei Gelegenheit dennoch einen Beitrag, und bin dann ganz #unruhig, bis ein #Moderator reagiert. Denn wenn kein aktiver Moderator mehr da ist, scheitert ein Beitrag nach 24 Stunden. Immerhin habe ich bereits gelernt, dass mein Beitrag damit nicht verloren ist. Der wird mir in meinem Feed während der Wartezeit angezeigt mit "Pending approval" oben rechts. Und wenn die Ablehnung da ist, werde ich darüber benachrichtigt und bekomme dann die Möglichkeiten, den Beitrag zu löschen, ihn in meinem Feed zu veröffentlichen oder vor einer Entscheidung per copy/paste noch anders zu verwenden. Nun habe ich selbst auch einen weiteren Kanal gestartet und erkunde die derzeitigen Moderationsmöglichkeiten. Es ist möglich, Beiträge frei zuzulassen und nur Kommentare zu moderieren. Das finde ich interessant. Wobei das genau so dazu führen kann, dass Kanäle verwaisen. Ich mag darum, wenn es keine Einschränkungen gibt, so wie bei Kammern damals. Doch ich freue mich, das alles mit dir auszuprobieren, statt anderswo wieder mal zu scheitern. Und dann verändere ich die Einstellungen vielleicht noch mal, bevor ich eines Tages nicht mehr da sein werde.
