That was the moment when I began to write down these ideas here without further ado and then turned back to my own goals for the day. In the evening, while translating a text about Self-Directed Education, I then came across an interview with a fellow who, at 15, left the school he attended, without being able to read - with the support of his father and the school principal. Well to me read and write is a basic skill but more important than that is the free will and also the skill to comprehend what you read, write, and now the new way of learning which is listening and watching material. It is important to also have common sense when it comes to learning. By to way in our modern world now you need to learn to type instead of writing, and to know how to use technology to search for information on either format video, audio, and text. I guess my comment is out of context with your article.
