We played Catan again today for the first time in a long time #deutsch unten It was really a coincidence, because it was the only game my son felt like playing after I decreed a day off from the computer today. Yes, that exists in our life, although it is becoming increasingly rare. Many opportunities of self-direction show their fruits. Anyway, this is the game I wanted to show you. We played the basic variant, as we were pleased that his sister/my daughter then joined us happily. The course of the game was marked by wonderful moments in which we not only traded and bartered with each other, but also gave each other gifts. The whole game in five pictures. I had soon taken the longest silk road (yellow) from my son (red), but my daughter later interrupted it again (blue). So in the end her brother won with 10 victory points. What's especially nice about the game today is that it reminds me of our beginnings here in FinSoc. I registered @anli on Hive in October 2017, when Hive didn't even exist. And it wasn't until December 2018 that I started blogging, with four posts on the game of Catan. And since it's still not easy to browse through old posts, I've linked all four right here as a memento. By the way, thanks to the media company Exozet, Catan is available at Steampowered and can also be played online from varying locations. Maybe we'll do that sometime? Let me know if you want to. The installation is free. (Unfortunately not yet for Linux.) For playing we would have to see, because that is only very limited free, but maybe feasible. Ja, das gibt es bei uns, wenngleich es immer seltener wird. Viele Gelegenheiten der Selbstbestimmung zeigen ihre Früchte. Das Spiel jedenfalls wollte ich euch zeigen. Wir spielten die Basisvariante, da wir uns freuten, dass seine Schwester/meine Tochter sich uns dann erfreut anschloss. Der Spielverlauf war geprägt von wundervollen Momenten, in denen wir nicht nur miteinander tauschten und handelten, sondern uns auch beschenkten. Das ganze Spiel in fünf Bildern. Ich hatte meinem Sohn (rot) bald die längste Handelsroute abgenommen (gelb), doch meine Tochter unterbrach diese später wieder (blau). So gewann letztlich ihr Bruder mit 10 Siegpunkten. Ganz besonders schön an dem Spiel heute ist, dass es mich an unsere Anfänge hier erinnert. Im Oktober 2017 registriert ich @anli bei Hive, als es Hive noch gar nicht gab. Und erst im Dezember 2018 begann ich dann zu bloggen, und zwar mit vier Beiträgen zum Spiel von Catan. Und da es noch immer nicht ganz leicht ist, in alten Beiträgen zu blättern, hab ich gleich alle vier hier zur Erinnerung verlinkt. Catan ist dank dem Medien-Unternehmen Exozet übrigens bei Steampowered verfügbar und lässt sich auch von verschiedenen Orten aus online spielen. Vielleicht machen wir das ja mal? Sag bescheid, wenn Du Lust hast. Die Installation ist gratis. (Leider noch nicht für Linux.) Für's Spielen müssten wir dann mal schauen, denn das ist nur sehr eingeschränkt gratis, doch vielleicht machbar. Und #BCH gäbe ich sofort dafür her, wenn es ginge!
