Communities - a suggestion. Today I scrolled through all the communities names of read cash and was surprised to see so many. But majority had less than 10 members. I also doubt how many are actually active. I think communities which have no activity for one month should be closed down. Also communities with less than 5 members for 1 month should be closed. Similar communities should be merged. This way the number of communities will be manageable.

Every user can start his/her own community. It's not about the users but about the topic. What the community stands for. Active communities will be shown. Not active for a week will be abandoned but shows up if the content is added. If you have something good and no community exists ask yourself why you should join a community that accepts everything. What is the benefit for you as an author?
There are a lot of similar communities functioning separately, those can be merged. Or within a broader category sub categories can be created from a drop down tab, that way it will be easier to search. Some communities are having 1 or 2 members I don't know how active they are, I doubt it. New communities are always welcome but after a certain time if it doesnt take off then something should be done with it.
Read.cash tried it all after the option to choose a topic was removed the communities should stand for a topic. One topic and one language. Read.cash started featuring the good communities but gave up on it. You can see why. Communities should fight plagiarism, make the difference but most did not and more scam was introduced and more rules we're changed.
ok then so be it. It just came in my mind going through names so many communities.
Perhaps you can find info and discussions back about the communities. Many are copies of what already existed and not each community administrator is happy with it because even the name is the same or nearly the same. The only difference is the way they work and the number. In the end it's up to the author what to join. I doubt it does your name good to be one in a heap of posts about everything but that's my personal opinion.
I dont have any problem with the present system, its just that the point came to my mind and I expressed it.
