Hi fellow food trippers. Wasn't able to post yesterday, was busy with work. Anyway, got invited for dinner by a good friend who turned out to be living in one of the nearby condos here in my area. She said that there was a canteen near her place that serves the best home-cooked foods. So off we went to dinner. I couldn't get proper photos of the food but managed to take a picture of the fried fish and dipping sauce. We call this 'daing the bangus' (deep fried milkfish). We also had 'nilagang baka' (beef soup), and 'pinakbet' (mixed veggies with fish paste). It was a good dinner and a nice break from fast food meals.
