Spicy Squid and Lemak Rice Good morning food trippers. Today is my rest day but I had a very early interview at 4:00am. The interview went well. I'm still waiting for the result. Got back home at 5:00am and stayed up a bit untilI fell asleep again. Woke up at 11:00am and I was very hungry. Good thing a friend texted me and said she cooked spicy squid and Lemak rice and will drop it off in my place. We both live in the same condominium complex. I thanked her and within minutes she was already in my front door with the food. The squid has the right amount of spiciness and the meat is tender. The sauce tastes great as well. Tne Lemak rice was cooked right and I can still smell the fragrance of the pandan leaves and the herbs used. I can also taste the coconut milk. It was nice waking up to a home cooked meal.
