📷Going to SG60 concert | 去看新加坡建国60周年演唱会😎 I got tickets from the communit club to go to a SG60 concert at Bishan last Saturday. I headed there earlier to check out the place and meet my wife later. I went by train to Bishan. Then got out of the MRT station and walked towards the concert ground. There was even a stall selling furniture. At the junction, I saw the tentage for the entrance to the concert area but it was bad news because the concert ground had no shelter. It was about 4.30pm and people already started to queue to go in. I went across the road to another exit of the MRT station and went to the Junction 8 shopping centre and meet my wife to dinner. After dinner, I went back to the concert ground. Went in after showing out tickets and got our bags checked. Then went to get a goodie bag. Got it and went in to look for seats. It was still early enough that many seats at the back were not occupied. Went to the front to get seats with better view. Unfortunately, it rained before the many of the chairs were wet. Luckily, we found that out and we used tissue paper to dry the chairs. While waiting, I looked at what's in the goodie bag. The hosts came out to kickoff the concert. There a performance by a group before the sky became darker and the sun set. We had Annette Lee performing. The concert ended after the fireworks and people started to leave. The same concert was also on Sunday but it was raining quite heavily on Sunday night.
