📷Sunday Wanderings: From Toa Payoh to Suntec City Eats | 周日漫游：从大巴窑吃到新达城😎 Went for late lunch on Sunday at Lorong 4 Toa Payoh. Decided to get the Char Kway Teow for $4.50. A simple Char Kway Teow. The taste was okay but it didn't have any Chinese sausage as ingredients. After a short visit to the inlaws, went to Suntec City to take a walk and look for dinner. It was the last day of the IT show so there were some good bargains. Passed by the BYD Café. Tempted by their $9.90 deal. Saw a rather new Chinese supermarket. They have a mala restaurant inside. At another atrium, they were sellling bedsheets, pillows and other stuff. Dunkin Donuts took over the place that used to be occupied by some Thai mango dessert. Ended up in Hoshino Coffee for crowded. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday night. They had Sakura & mentaiko fair on their menu. My wife opted for the chicken katsu sando and she finished the whole thing. I had the mentaiko & teriyaki chicken tori-paitan carbonara soup spaghetti. We shared a hazelnut pancake souffle but found that the doube was a bit too much. The dinner cost more than $54. Bit expensive so won't be back so soon.
