📷Sunday Lunch and Dinner in Toa Payoh | 大巴窑的周日午餐和晚餐😎 Went out looking for late Sunday lunch after the housework. Saw a new stall opening at this coffeeshop at Lorong 1 Toa Payoh. Headed to another coffeeshop across the road because the lady wanted to eat yong tau foo. I think she picked more items than me. I wasn't that hungry so I picked only 6 items with my noodle. The two bowls cost $12.80. Then we spent bought some food for the inlaws and spent some time there before going for dinner. Back to Syed Cafe which we went not too long ago. It wasn't crowded inside but the guy behind me was coughing badly. So we shifted to a table in a different area. Getting a bee hoon mee goreng. A small chicken murtabak. Two teh halia. The teh halia came quite fast. Waited a while for the bee hoon mee goreng which was different from the usual mee goreng. The small chicken murtabak was bigger than expected. The dinner cost about $20. Satisifed enough. The Swensens had opened next door. Maybe we'll go there next time. Outside at the atrium, BYD was having a road show. Who wants to buy an EV?
