📷Going out on Chinese New Year Eve + a supper | 除夕夜出去逛+吃夜宵😎 Wanted to go out for a walk but not to fight the crowd at Chinatown. So, just took a train to Novena expecting many stores to be closed. Don Don Donki was opened and not very crowded. They were also selling yusheng. D'Life a vegetarian restaurant has people eating reunion dinner there. Jollibee had some diners having their fried chicken. The open space at Novena Square had be cleared and there were no popped up stalls. Spotted Xin Wang which was opened and there wasn't anyone queueing. Decided to go in for some supper. They were busy but not extremely busy as there were still empty tables. Needed a drink and I got a iced yuzu tea for myself and my wife had coffee. I had a papaya soup bee hoon with pork chop. My wife opted for a simple breakfast set. Slightly more that $31 for this simple meal but you can complain for Chinese New Year eve. Otherwise, it would have been Coffee Bean Or KFC Or something from the supermarket.
