📷What's on queue? | 为啥排队?😎(by @ace108) Earlier on Saturday, my wife was queueing for bak kwa. Think of it as sweet BBQ pork. Many families seem to think it is a must have item for Chinese New Year. I think I heard before a slice of these are 350 sinful calories. They have started to increase the price and it will be most expensive on new year eve. Next store were lots of people queueing to get their hair cut and do all sorts of things with their hair. It is "tradition" to raise the price two weeks before Chinese New Year and sort of 'tradition' to get a haircut. My last one was in October but I'm not about to queue. Hate that they increase the price too. In the night, after running some errands, I went to try my luck at Okinawa. I know they don't have a habit of increasing price. Two were getting haircut and only one was waiting. So I went in to the machine, slot in $10 to buy a ticket and waited a while for my number to be called. Then I went in and 10 minutes later, I was already at th eopen area of HDB Hub recording my evidence.
