📷Dinner at Tokyo Sundubu | 东京纯豆腐😎 I went to Suntec City looking for dinner on boxing day. After walking around for quite a bit, I ended up at the 3rd floor where they have a number of restaurant. I decided to go this Tokyo Sundubu which I have not been before. My wife order the Mushroom Sundubu. My 5-Vegetables Sundubu is similar except soup had different ingredients. Both soup are not vegetarian because they have some meat in there but the soup was good for the raining days. We has a Seafood Chijimi to share. Not a cheap meal. Ended up paying more than $54 for the meal. Good spicy toufu soup for the cold days.
Externally, this soup reminds me of Thai tom yam soup, it is also great for cold weather. When I was sick with covid, our friend came to us and cooked this soup for us. Despite the fact that I didn't feel any tastes or smells, I felt that this soup is hot and spicy and it adds vitality
It's spicy but does not have the sour taste of Tom yam soup. I also tasted the spice after recover from covid but my coffee is still not back to how it used to taste
It's a nasty thing, covid, it knocks out of a rut for a long time. I wish you a speedy final recovery and no more getting sick!
