Coffee before buying lunch | 喝咖啡才买午餐😎 Start of a long weekend because Monday is a holiday. After taichi practice, I went to the food centre at Lorong 4 Toa Payoh for coffee. Ah Chye Coffee is one stall I go to for coffee quite often but now that I work from home lesser, I have less chance to go there during lunch time. I had a coffee with milk which $1.10. Of course that is more than what I used to pay but I like the couple there. Half way through drinking my coffee, I shifted to another table because I wanted to buy lunch from this stall without a English name. 根叔美食世家.I buy the food from them quite regularly. I waited until there was nobody buying. Then I went up to buy 2 packs of boat porridge 艇仔粥, 2 packs of glutinous rice 糯米饭 and 2 fried prawn dumplings. Total spent $18.40 . Brought the food to the in-laws place for lunch. I really should try their other food items because they do have variety. This was the first time I tried the fried dumpling. A bit salty for me.
