📷Volunteering at the HSBC Rugby Sevens before pickleball games | 汇丰橄榄球七人制赛志愿工作后打匹克球😎 Went out from home early in the morning to go to the National Stadium and do some volunteer work for the HSBC rugby sevens. Took a selfie as I waited. After getting my badge, walked towards the workforce rest area. There were many other volunteers in the workforce rest area. After some briefing, I went with the Merchandise Assistant team to look for the Merchandise area inside the stadium. After some briefing, I went with the Merchandise Assistant team to look for the Merchandise area inside the stadium. Took a selfie along the way. Reached the Merchandise booth. Some of us would be helping with the sale and another guy and I were in the store room behind helping to fulfil the orders. It was a manually sophisticated operation. The staff would shout the item number, size if applicable and quantity in English or Cantonese. We would find the item and threw it to the staff at the door, echoing the order. So it was a test of our hearing, eyesight and hand eye coordination. The queue of buyers grew long after the gates opened and was very long by lunchtime. I went out for lunch. Crossed path with Lord Vader. Met other volunteers as I reached the rest area. Grabbed my lunch. This lunch seemed to have higher budget compared to the last event I volunteered at. After lunch, I headed back to the stadium. The spectators were getting food too. There were some sections reserved by corporations probably for their customers and business partners. The stadium was more crowded by then. Although there were still many seats available. Some food stalls were not opened. I saw the queue to the merchandise area were super long as I reached. So many people were just queueing to spend money. In between work in the afternoon, I went on toilet break. Saw a juggler performing. After the end of my shift, I went to take a train at the Stadium MRT station. Went to the club to play some pickleball. Managed to play 4 games. Then it started to rain heavily. Our CDB was like Genting Highlands. So it was time fir dinner and I decided to get a laksa at the poolside café.
