📷Where the king had asam fish | 国王吃亚参鱼的地方😎 Join my friend to look for this place he wanted to try in JB recently. Arrived at Kranji MRT station after slightly more than an hour ride. Finally, took the bus to the Singapore checkpoint. Cleared the customs and took the bus to JB and cleared the checkpoint. Then met my friends at KFC about 11am just after they arrived. We were all earlier than the time we planned to meet which was 11am. My friend brought us to walk on the bridge from JB Central. I could see the place. Passed by a newer mall which I hadn't been to. It was still a bit of walk before we found our way inside. Wasn't crowded on Thursday just before noon. Just one page on the menu and my friend ordered for three of us. I had a hot press anthem and tea and my friends had lime juice. We had to order the asam fish that the Johor king had before, plus kang kong, otah and rice for everyone. The asam fish was good enough. I got the otah opened. Also had a fried fish which was good. Don't know how much because my friend bought us lunch but you can do the maths base on the menu.
