Road closed for heritage trees ๐ณ ๐ The road along one side of Padang has more than 20 trees that are more than 29 years old designated at heritage trees. They provide good shade to people walking there and the area has been where car free Sunday had been held many times. There are already not many cars there due to combination of change of traffic direction, restrictions and the pandemic. Now in December, the road is closed to vehicular traffic. That's good news to the trees and I guess we have a new outdoor place for events. Here was the news I saw before: https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/connaught-drive-and-anderson-bridge-be-pedestrian-only-end-december #photochallenge37 #originalcontent #photography #myphotograph #ace108

wow! this is the one thing I love about your country Ace, the government always incorporates nature like these trees in the city. I've seen in you tube how they uproot the huge trees and transfer them to places like inside a mall, so instant tree! so cool. My mom showed me a video too many years ago when she lived there for many months while visiting my sister who used to work in Universal Studios Casino, on how they removed a huge tree. I find it so fascinating. She told me that mostly people walk there and the best thing she love is the Durian! Your photo, I could sit on a bench here all day while enjoying feasting on a book โบ๏ธโบ๏ธ
