The Calm before the Storm The calm before the storm is not a safety yet it is a warning. Mainit, walang ulan, walang ulap- that's because the eye of the storm is still few km away. Hinihigop ng bagyo lahat ng moisture sa paligid, common knowledge na ito sa marami And when the eyewall hit, Wind speed can change drastically- from eerie calmness to destructive in under few minutes. The few drops can become a massive rainfall without warning enough to flood the areas. so be prepared. Now that Bagyong uwan will probably hit Luzon. The Mighty Stormbreakers of Luzon **Sierra Madre, Cordilleras, Caraballo Range** Di dapat laging inaasa sa kanila because we all know matagal na nila tayong pinaglaban sa mga nagdaang bagyo. pero yung mga taong pinoprotektahan nila ay paulit ulit silang kinakalbo't nilalapastangan. These mountain ranges were designed not only for the beauty but to protect the land from devastating floods. Don't forget kung paano nila sinasangga ang bagyo, pinahihina ang lakas ng hangin at ulan just to save us. They are there for a purpose! and we? Why won't we protect them as well at all cost? Stop selfishness, stop the greed for power and money. Stop illegal loggings, deforestation, illegal minings. Because when abused, they too can tremble and cause flash floods. Take this chance to be prepared. **What to prioritize (not in particular order!!)** Water, clean bottles mag stock ng malinis na maiinom when bagyo hits, maaring walang mabilihan or sarado mga waterstation Food, canned food all food that we can consume, We wouldn't know what will happen and our body needs energy Ayusin ang dapat ayusin, ipako ang dapat ipako, itali ang dapat itali, Ikeep sa plastic yung mga documents, important things. Must be handy! Don't forget people in your households senior, kids, babies and even pets! prepare all their needs and must be accessible, jacket, dry clothes, (food and water and meds are non negotiable) Medicine, First aid kit, ID's, Candles, Devices must be charged cellphones ,powerbanks, rechargable powerstation, lights anything. Load your simcards, data. everything you can use, Cash should be ready. Manood only sa reliable sources to avoid fake news! -if flood prone area keep your things handy be ready to evacuate! I know mahirap iwanan ang tahanan pero mas mahirap mawalan ng buhay. I know it's hard but we are capable to build shelters again. W*rite your name, address, information in a paper keep it in a ziplock and waterproof case. Keep it with you. When you know you know.* Most importantly, Prayers. I couldn't feel at ease with this bagyong uwan. Hindi prone sa flood itong area namin but this calmness and stillness is really creepy! after what happened to Cebu I know some areas there na hindi usually na binaha pero but when tino hits maraming nalubog na bahay. Mas okay na maging over prepared, maging obsessed sa safety. Be OA, Be overthinking. Think of possibilities being paranoid will save you. yun lang. Stay safe people :)
