Even though my office is about half the distance of my past one, adjusting to the office life has been so draining lol. The office itself is so hot and dry, too. I love that I get to see my colleagues again, though.

Another one for the collection. I used a WAY bigger canvas size this time... I think I'm gonna reel it back some - working with the larger canvas was kind of a pain, and I don't like how this one turned out compared to the other ones I've made.

Got some desk decorations for when we go back to the office in a week or two. Still not looking forward to going back, but it's out of my control. The work-from-home life was pretty good while it lasted.

Decided to get back into an "MMO" that I used to play the crap out of like 20 years ago called Well Of Souls. I was honestly shocked to see that despite the fact it was never really all that popular, 1. The site is still up for the game 2. The game actually actually runs without any issue in Win 10 3. The online features are still functional (though nowhere near as popular as it was back in the day). The game has aged well in the sense that it is every bit the same as it was 20 years ago, and the gameplay still holds up well. Decided to take a swing at a Glitch run in Shadowgate. After dicking around with all the jank you can do with this run, I decided to go for it. First attempt landed me in 11th place lol. Time to get good at the glitch run and see how well I can place there.

So all-in I ended up working like 14 hours or so... a few of which were unpaid union hours. Finished that, made dinner, then literally just crashed. I think I must have slept for like 12 hours haha. Thankfully, it's Saturday so nbd, right?

Got a couple loose N64 games coming way way soon - Pokemon Snap and Goldeneye. I almost bought a really banged up copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day, but I couldn't justify $38 for it... the front label was literally Sharpied on there, and the back label had a Blockbuster sticker on it. The game sells pretty high, but my end goal is to eventually get an Everdrive for the system anyway.

Hard to believe we've already made it almost all the way through January already :O This Friday I'm gonna take a trip back to High School with Ozzy's album "Down to Earth". I listened to this one a lot when hanging out with my friends on lunch breaks. I remember going to HMV to buy this one. How are there even fans of BTC? Like, the shit is so expensive to use it doesn't even make sense and it always feels like people hold it just so one day they can convert it to fiat and spend it as fiat... completely defeats the purpose While we're at it, how is it that BTC is taking over in poor countries? A coin so expensive to use that it can't replace USD for daily transactions, yet countries that already have poor economies somehow expect to be able to use BTC to take care of their bills and daily needs? If only there was a cryptocurrency that was fit to replace fiat... 🤔
