It's kind of funny that I got into IT for a living. Technology always seems to work against me, but maybe that's what drew me to fixing it as a career. Right now I've got two cases of "nothing ever goes smoothly": 1. The RetroSpy Arduino I was doing. Now, in my defense I was trying to get it working on a Mega 2560, when the project calls for an Uno. Both boards are supposed to be basically the same. The Mega is supposedly just an expanded version with more pins for more potential. For whatever reason, though, I can't get RetroSpy to pick up my inputs. I've just put in an order for another board that somebody has told me they've used a lot with success. I can't find the Uno on Amazon and I don't wanna wait around for shipping on other sites, but I was able to find this other board on Amazon so I'm gonna give it a swing when I get it. I honestly don't know what else it could be at this point. I've confirmed the wiring is 100%. 2. I bought a copy of Rocksmith to give a go, since the RetroSpy was bothering me and I wanted something else to focus on for a bit. I got the game and the "Real Tune" cable for it. Turns out, this game is an absolute nightmare to get working. It doesn't like audio interfaces (which I use), and for whatever reason the game isn't even picking up its own proprietary cable. Windows is picking it up without issue, though. Seriously, what a crapshoot. Looking around on the internet, there are a LOT of people complaining about the same issues there
