Full Album Friday! Black Ribbons is a concept album released by Shooter Jennings (son of Country legend Waylon Jennings) released in 2010. It's about a dystopian future where the radio and media are heavily censored and plays as if you're listening to the last broadcast from the last pirate radio station still playing what they want to, despite the government regulations. You'll hear the story from the viewpoint of the radio announcer (voiced by Stephen King) as he talks about how bad things are in this (hopefully) fictitious future. The story bits are quite dark in theme, so if you're a sensitive to violence/murder/dystopia skip through the bits with Stephen King. For the most part, they're their own tracks and they're easy to skip through when they come on.
