From the "I have no idea wtf this guy is talking about" files, I just found out about a really cool project somebody's maintaining called Box86 - it allows you to run x86-based programs on devices running ARM processors. Essentially, it opens up doors to run PC-based software on cell phones. It's gonna be a bit more of a process for me because my phone is running a 64-bit processor, so I'll have to download 32-bit equivalents of Termux etc... but yeah. Hoping work quiets…

This demo is mindblowing, and I have no idea how it didn't place first. As far as I can tell it's from a 2019 demoscene competition, but it was written to be run on an Atari ST. That particular computer is like 36 years old now... but they're pulling some pretty fun tricks in this one. Obscure-ish full albums are getting harder to find digital copies of... when I get a chance, I guess I'm gonna have to upload the copy of The Label - SOFA because it doesn't seem to exist anywhere other than discogs lol It's an old punk sampler on what might be the thickest vinyl record I've ever seen. How are there even fans of BTC? Got a couple loose N64 games coming way way soon - Pokemon Snap and Goldeneye. I almost bought a really banged up copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day, but I couldn't justify $38 for it... the front label was literally Sharpied on there, and the back label had a Blockbuster sticker on it. The game sells pretty high, but my end goal is to eventually get an Everdrive for the system anyway.

So all-in I ended up working like 14 hours or so... a few of which were unpaid union hours. Finished that, made dinner, then literally just crashed. I think I must have slept for like 12 hours haha. Thankfully, it's Saturday so nbd, right?

Spent a better part of the weekend arguing with nazis and nazi sympathisers in Canada right now. This is pathetic... I never expected to be (former) friends with people who could be so easily duped, and STILL not change their opinion when provided proof that they're supporting white nationalism. 😢
