Caught this pretty looking spider sitting happily in it's web. A closer look revealed some intricate patterns in both the spider and the web. An even closer look showed that this had caught it's prey - an insect - and was getting ready to devour it. So this is a pretty dangerous spider!

Wow! I like the zigzag on its web. I never think that their web has zigzag until i found this picture.I really thought that their web are made of just straight line.

  That central zig zag seems to be something some spiders do to reinforce the central structure and makenit more stable.

    Ah ok. And might be this type can handle big prey so it cannot escape.
