Can you help me make these potatoes sprout? My son is supposed to have a school activity of taking photographs of making something sprout. They had suggested ginger or potato. Will this potato sprout if I just keep it in a glass bowl of water? Please let me know if I should cut them and then put them, which side up or down, should I add anything to the water and if I should submerge them completely. How long will it take? I've seen these grow when I bury them in soil, but I can't really take photographs if they are buried.
