How do I clean up the soleplate of my iron box. I use my iron to press the clothes I wear often. Through the years it has gotten this dark deposit on the sole plate. It's probably dirt and muck and fibres stuck to the surface. The heat has literally made it part of the sole plate. How do I get rid of this bit doesn't leave a stain on clothes, but it doesn't glide over clothes as smooth as before. If you tell me a method that gets rid of it, I'll post a pic after cleaning it and give you credit
