I spent my 1980s in school. And today I relived one of those school moments with my son. He got his first fountain pen as a gift. He was keen to try it and today I got some fountain pen ink from the store. And guess what? It was the exact same brand of ink I used throughout my school. A brand called Bril. The logo was the same and the bottle shape was very similar to what I remember it as. The same shade of yellow background on the label too! Memories of me filling and spilling ink as I filled my pen in a hurry before rushing off to school.
