The older flower in this photo is almost withering away. Its petals are starting to fall and the color is not as vibrant as a couple of days ago. I like how the new flower bud seems to be starting to blossom under the shadow of the bigger and older flower. It almost looks like the older flower is protecting the little bud as it prepares to bloom.
