Google pay is a very popular online, app based payment method in India. It's easy to send and receive money between users in an instant. When the service started, there would be plenty of reward bonuses for every transaction. Even though it was only a few rupees, it encouraged people to adopt this method of payment more often. Although it is still very convenient, the rewards have almost disappeared. They give you a scratch card for every transaction but I've not won anything for ages. Today I realised that I had about 12 cards still not used and opened them one after the other and all 12 of them were blank. I guess the bonuses have dried up. I'll still use Google pay as it is so convenient and instant.
