Christmas star vs sun. In the daytime, the star light is barely seen and fades into oblivion even through a hazy sun. It looks like an ordinary cardboard shape swinging in the wind. But the darkness brings out the pretty shape with all the designs on it and it looks lovely and Christmassy. But lookg at it in the daytime is nowhere as impressive or beautiful as you can see.
