The portulaca on my balcony is frail, but still surviving. When I leave in the morning, I can see only the buds. By the time I return in the evening, the flower has bloomed and then closes again. But I got to see the full bloom on Saturday as i return in the afternoon. Here it is looking out of the balcony ledge onto the sun!!
