One of the things that I hate about touristy places is the price that is paid for by the environment to sustain the tourism. So many trees cut down to make space for the shops and hotels and resorts. And the tree trunks are used for business or just thrown by the wayside. How sad!!

I know. The town where my gf used to live was taken for tourism, so they cut down a lot of trees, even the ones from the Central Park, many people protested against that, but it did happen anyway ☹️
