Have you ever held a starfish in your hands? When we were in Australia, there were several aquariums and places that allowed children to safely handle starfishes. My son was barely 3 months old and he enjoyed this real interaction. The experts assured us that this is safe for the children and the starfish.

Starfish are very hard but it looks like they are soft.

I also remember back when we were in Malapascua Island..wayway back.. we held some starfish with different colors
